I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital.

Got this 3TB WD external to replace a 500GB external. Needless to say, in this day and age, 500GB doesn't really get you as far as you would like. It was also a WD Passport, not a thing wrong with it - just not enough storage space. I Travis frequently and need to have all my work and personal docs and files available. This drive fills the bill and more! Zippy fast, lots of room. Great product! I'm sure I'll be getting another in the near future since I do a lot with GoPro cameras and those files can be pretty large. And of course the price is right and you can't beat B&H service!

I was already familiar with WD Elements Portable external drives--have bought/used the 500GB, 1T and 2T drives. So, when I saw the offer at a reduced prices, I jumped on it. Very glad I came across B&H!

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and have a WD 500GB Passport of my own already (I don't own any other brands of external HD's so I can't comment on how this product would compare to other brands). Great price from B&H (couldn't find anything better on Amazon or via Google shopping) and there was no charge for shipping. Product came undamaged in a few days as promised and thus far I am happy with my purchase.

I have several WD external hard drives. Purchased this one for a backup. So far, so good and the price was right.

gutted the 1.5TB hard drive in this, put it into my drobo, and took a 500gb wd green and put it in this enclosure. works just fine. i like the fact that the enclosure is nice and minimal, no gaudy neon lights or whirring fans, which are completely uneccesary in hard drive enclosures.

The WD 12TB external Hard drive was perfectly priced to be a back up drive for my business. This is my third 12TB hard drive by WD.

After having great luck over the years with WD Passport (spinning disk) drives and then trying a WD external SSD (which has had multiple issues), I returned to obtain another of the Passport (disk) drives with which I've had much success over the years.
