Use this in a surveillance system DVR. With 8 4K cameras on continuously, it takes several weeks to fill before the data is overwritten. Always swap out the drives in surveillance camera systems with higher capacity WD drives. Never had a problem or failure yet. Very Reasonably priced for such capacity. Highly recommend all WD drives. 5 |

My old MyCloud was no longer being supported so I purchased the WD 8TB Cloud Home Dou. It arrived on time, easy to install and seamlessly was able to copy my old data to my new Cloud. My old cloud was 4 TB so I bought the 8 TB to have autobackup. 5 |

I like the mycloud units but wish they were more controllable from the cloud. I have each in a different location and have to use a unique email to manage them. Seems WD could come up with a better plan. but that is my only complaint 5 |
