Weather Company Underground

Fits like a glove! Couldn't be happier with this product; the Heat Company really nailed it with this softshell glove. The design is superb, the quality is great, and the functionality is EXACTLY what one needs when photographing in cold weather conditions. Through in the fact that they even provide a complimentary pack of hand warmers to get you started and you could not ask for a better return on your money. Highly recommend for any photographer - or outdoors enthusiast - who needs both comfort and functionality in their cold weather gloves/system. Bravo Zulu on this product!

After researching cold weather gloves, I chose the Heat Company system; specifically, the Full-Leather Mitten with two different liners. I've found that these gloves are excellent for photography and, especially with the liners, keep my hands quite warm and allow me to use my cameras.

I ordered two of these and I was surprised the came in fairly large boxes. I was worried they would be thin and not sturdy, but I was wrong. The cotton fabric is a nice weight and the zippers and pockets are very sturdy. The design is high quality. I do lots of photo/video work and I never have enough pockets for gear. I bought the vest to maintain a professional appearance and carry all the batteries, cables, lens care items and stuff I need on the job. I plan to have my company name embroidered above a pocket. I had considered getting polo shirts, but they don't work well in cold weather. The vest will be perfect. If I have helpers, they can be easily identified with a company vest as well. I am in a four season area, and this vest will be the perfect weight for summer as well as winter weather. At first, some of the zippers were really difficult to open, but once I got them to unzip the first time, they were fine. Since it's 100% cotton, I hope it doesn't shrink. I will try not to have to wash it very often and I will probably not put it in the dryer.

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.

Solid takes abuse perfect for poking the gopro into strange places underwater and underground.

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great.

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures.

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison.

This arm is exactly what I needed. I made an oversized copy stand to photograph old city maps and drawings of the underground utilities. I'm using the arm on top of a ProMaster Super Heavy Duty SLR II Tripod. Had to put a couple of weights on the tripod just to make sure it wouldn't tip over with the arm fully extended.

We have had 2 electrical storms that have fried our switches connected to underground network wiring. I have installed these at both ends of outdoor run and have not had any surges since. Seem like they work as advertised.
