This mic picks up sound perfecrtly. The wind sock is great and really works. I use my camera for hunting and was hunting in 30mph winds one day and could hear turkeys from 50 ysrds away and no wind could not beleive it. Great product. 5 |

I am using the mic for a docu in Iraq and it is working marvelously. I us the rycote wind sock and it is also very good. The mic has a great range of sound pick up. which can also be a bad thing if you aren't careful. Overall I think that rode mics are pretty much the way to go for this type of use. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

We are using the product for sensitive weather instruments. The fact that we can adjust the sizing according to the instruments is awesome. It's big, it's bulky but our equipment is safe and won't be damaged on the sled ride up a Colorado hill (mountain). 5 |
