Weather Underground 12 20 2019

My build started in 12/2019. Guided by rumors of some Zen 3 release, I plan my rig and began buying: CPU: Athlon 200GE MB: Asus B450-I GPU: XFX 5700 DD (at 299usd!) More than a year for this CPU to be available, but it was worth the wait. Now I can finally enjoy the full potential of my PC.

Needed to connect MacBook Pro (16, 2019) to an 20 Apple Cinema Display,via CalDigit TS3 Plus Dock. Was given two adapters that did not work. Saw this product on the B&H website. Got it, connected it & it works...with no worries.

With this star tracker I was able to shoot the January 20, 2019 lunar eclipse using a Sony RX10 IV at base ISO with a longer exposure.

I bought this from B&H to shoot the Blood Moon 1-20-2019. I needed a little longer reach than what I had, which was a 18-140 Nikkor which produced sharp images but were too small in size for the moon. I bought this lens because it would more than double my reach. I shot the following picture with this lens on a Nikon D7200.

All lithium batteries have their pros and cons but these are the best of the best and they work just as well in -20 degree weather and in 100 degree weather.

I use these lithium batteries in my weather station. They last a long time and can handle the 20 below weather we get.

High quality and 12 gage wire which is rated for 20 amps.

We use the Sennheiser wireless system for our News & Weather, and all of our commercial gear (12 sets so far). Though its a great system, the microphones seem to fail very quickly, at least for us. These replaced the original mics and have served us flawlessly.

I have a new Nikon Z6 and needed a holster case. The Holster 20 is just right. I moved the weather drape in the well of the case and placed my flash in the zipper pocket instead. The case fits the Z6 just right with the strap worked in the side. It is sturdy and fits with comfort.

I have wear those gloves for a couple of days now in weather of -15 to -20 celsius and they kept my hands warm. Of course when you removed the tip of the thumb or index you feel the cold. I love those gloves.
