Weather Underground Anna Maria Island

I have it in a weather resistant enclosure in my bbq island. I have two sets of wired speakers wired to it. I stream music to my backyard. Works awesome!! 5 |

I have used the Gigapan with a Canon G11 to take panoramas of the Frank Gehry Ray and Maria Stata Building, the Le Corbusier Carpenter Center and the Memorial Church in Harvard Yard. You can see them on the gigapan site at gigapan.com where you can zoom in and view snapshots of interesting details. The stitching software is better than any I have seen as long as you follow the rules. The included carrying bag is perfect, allowing the camera, extra batteries, etc to fit in a compact, light-weight package. Having tried several other methods of taking and stitching panoramas, I feel I have finally found an acceptable solution. 5 |

I took the 1650 on a week long shoot starting in Santa Maria to LA. I bounced it, loaded and 30 lb. case on top and rolled from airport, rental car bus to the gig. It rolls smooth and the four wheels give it stability over rough terrain. The price is worth it, especially when you are protecting thousands of dollars of your precious gear. Keep in mind that for all this protection requires strong HEAVY construction. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison. 5 |
