Weather Underground Directv Channel

I have 4 105s on the farm mounted in equipment. Really like the quick access to the weather channel. We are in very flat country so the range is great. Have been able to talk across the entire farm. Range of about 10 miles. Thinking about buying a radio for everything on the farm. Only advice I’d give is if you’re not going to get an external speaker, make sure the radios mounted next to your head and right at you ear cause they can be hard to hear sometimes. 5 |

Purchased this little radio a few weeks ago very pleased with it. Really like the quick disconnect mount and the weather radio channel is neat. Parotid with a 6 DB gain Midland antenna and it talks and receives great. 5 |

Bought the set of two a few weeks ago and have used them a few times. Range seems pretty good so far and the weather channel was great for keeping an eye on the last two big storms we had. 5 |

I put this in a DirecTV HR54-700. This drive is quiet and runs cool, but the best part.... it is 4X larger than the stock drive 5 |

I'm using this as an external drive for my DIRECTV DVR. Its been recording 24/7 for four months now without issue. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

Solid takes abuse perfect for poking the gopro into strange places underwater and underground. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison. 5 |
