Weather Underground Incline Village Nv

I use this when I want stable uninterrupted connection to my video village.

I have the xtr2 3-15x scr-mil and love it ... I can see bullet holes in white paper at 500yds ... none of my spotting scopes had been able to do that! I have it on .300WM ... REM700 action, criterion barrel, mcCree chassis ... usually shoot off manfrotto tripod ... I live in rural area and the grass is too high to lay down much. The illumination is great for using low power magnification and holding (I usually hold and don't crank after zeroing). Illumination not good for NV as washes out the target, but that is true regardless of the scope or illumination. We don't use illumination with NV, we do use it in the day time with the scope on low magnification, so we can see the hash marks on the reticle. It is a bit long and a bit heavy, but on the 15 pound .300WM that is not an issue.

I had purchased 2 competing brands of NV equipment but returned after dissapointing results. This one I'm keeping.

Very solid build. Quality product which just glides through the micro adjustments on the focusing rack. Holds its position on the rack without the brake knob engaged up to about 70 degree incline with my macro kit of Nikon D7500 Kirk L bracket and Tamron 90mm macro lens ( combined weight approx. 3.6 lbs. ) It can very slowly creep between 70 and 90 degree incline but I use the brake knob when focus is attained. Great for focus stacking but I also use it in the field for micro adjustments to focus more precisely. Bonus is it also works well as nodal point rack for panoramas. Very pleased with the purchase and advice and service from B&H. Well worth the cost.

In Switzerland, I was on a train with a steep incline and abrasive surface on the floor. Once starting up the steep grade, my RX100 hit the floor on the display and slid four feet before I caught it with my foot. As you can see, the protector took the damage, leaving my RX100, perfect. No better screen protector.

Indescribable. I purchased it to go with the Definitive Technology Incline and it is flawless. It does not have the silly auto off function which is a nuisance for people listening to low volume audio a lot. The sound is so perfect and so adjustable it cannot be matched by many high end sub woofers I have listened to. This brand as well as Def Tech are top quality and fairly priced. It is expensive but fairly priced. It has plenty of power if you turn it up to shake the entire house and every floor. But I prefer accurate sound over excessive bass which is hard to find among the countless sub woofers available. Also packaging and white finish are beyond superb. Oh, and Audioengine A5+ and Def Tech Studio Series or Incline are excellent speakers to go with this. This is definitely a better sub woofer than the regular Def Tech ones unless it is the high wattage sealed ones in which case you would pay twice thus anyways. Any type of song or movie sounds incredible makes you feel like you are there. Bottom line, buy this before trying anything else because you won't have to! Oh, and be a responsible high end sub listener and get real cables like the monster gold plated or something. A DAC (high bitrate/sample rate audio card) is also a requirement for any quality audio component to sound good so don't skip out or you may not be hearing the same awesomeness I am hearing :).

I use this NV on the Arizona Border doing Civilian Border Watches and it performs very well. I have used Gen 1,2, &3 and I really prefer the Digital. You don't have to worry about bright lights, and the black & white mode shows better detail to me. The auto IR mode works great. In 1/4 moonlight and above you can turn the IR off.

Very nice little NV device! Impressed with the IR illumination and picture clarity in pitch black darkness. Great product from Carson. I will buy another one.

The mount was ordered for a NV illuminator and filled the bill 100%. Top drawer, Tier 1 equipment.
