Weather Underground Mark Felt

Found them very useful for winter day trips/dry weather. Initially felt they might be too bulky but that was not the case - I can handle a full size dslr or mirrorless camera without feeling encumbered. Seem to be holding up well after one winter of steady use, no complaints. Good value for the price. 5 |

I already have the Canon5D and felt it was time to move on to something better. Having looked at the 5D mark III and the Mark II, I chose the latter as it more than fulfils the needs to handle pro, semi pro and advanced amateur photographers needs. Full of features and top notch quality. 5 |

I've been a Pentax fan for many years and have always felt that in terms of features is the best value out there. The K-1 Mark ii continues to lead the pack with its 36mp resolution and host of features. The 28-105mm lens is the perfect choice and I've not seen any chromatic aberration in even difficult lighting situations and the sharpness and contrast are excellent. Overall, a great buy. 5 |

I was so impressed by the Golden Age pre-73 and the pre-73 mark II that I felt compelled to try one of their microphones. This mic always comes up in forums and I have to say it delivers the goods. It is currently deployed as a center overhead on my drum kit and it is punchy and full sounding with a nice warm vintage flavor. At this price you should be buying two! Make sure you have a good boom stand because this mic is hefty! 5 |

I had a Nikon D610 with 50% more mp than my son's early Olympus 5 (24 mp to 16 mp), and yet he was getting sharper pictures because of the in-body image stabilization (IBIS)--a kind of digital tripod. I bought an OM 1, and it was light enough so that I was willing to get the em 5 mark iii as well. I use the OM 1 with a long telephoto for bird pictures because of the great focusing and tracking. The em 5 is in the same camera bag with a shorter zoom for landscapes and people. I can't tell the difference in picture quality between the OM 1 and the em 5, even though the IBIS is better in the OM 1. I get noticeable noise in both at ISO 6400. With the larger sensor in the Nikon the noticeable noise began at 12800. I can live with that, in part because of the f/2.8 lenses that I have, faster than what I used on the NIkon. The OM 5, like the OM 1, has better IBIS and weather sealing than the em 5. I have big hands, and the OM 1 feels better to me, but I can use either 5 and manage all of the dials and buttons easily. For prospective buyers, the most expensive one is the OM 1, best for wildlife and sports pictures. The least expensive is the em 5 mark iii. The OM 5 is $300 more than the em 5, with better IBIS, better weather sealing, and a newer processor which leads to faster focusing and exposure adjustments, intermediate between the speed of the em 5 and the OM 1. The OM 1 has the great IBIS and weather sealing. It also has the largest battery, probably of more importance to professionals than amateurs. All three have industry leading IBIS, which is enough for me to recommend anyone of the three, with the final choice depending on intended use and available budget. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison. 5 |
