I use this in the field, in NY. I generally do landscape photography, or outdoor macro photography. With the cold weather, this has helped keep my camera warm so as to reduce condensation, but those times when a light sprinkle hits, this is a great addition to my camera bag. I love that its big enough for my longest zoom, but doesn't get in the way of my shorter lenses for macro shots.

I can usually get these cheaper through B&H than I can direct from Canon. And since they usually come from NY (we're in CT) the delivery is really quick. I once even got my order the same day.

I used this mic on a Sony ex1r, shooting on the roof of an apartment in NY during a very windy day. The mic did an amazing job. When I watched the footage I was sure the actors were wearing wireless mics. The mic is just superb.

I just finished filming a four day music festival in Ithaca NY using the Cobra 3. After holding this monopod for hours at a time, I can you tell you that the light weight carbon fiber makes a big difference!! Cam extension levers make it easy to adjust the height while filming without shaking the video footage. This is a must for anyone that shoots live music!!!

I just returned from a four day snowshoeing adventure in the Adirondack Mountains in NY State. I took with me my Nikon D7500 DSLR with a hefty 17-55mm lens (weighs a lot, nearly same as 24-80 FX lens.). Strapped them to my Osprey 80L backpack with this clip. Worked perfectly, barely noticed I was carrying the camera, clipped and unclipped the camera hundreds of times, all seamlessly. Beautifully engineered and executed.

this little gadget was an after thought as i was getting to the checkout in the NY store. it was one of the best decisions of the day. it clips to my camera strap and is always there when i need it at a moments notice. it is unobtrusive, i don't even know it's there as i'm photgraphing. i don't know how i did without it!
