Webcam Home Security Camera Software

I now own 5 of these camera. I have had excellent satisfaction from all. I use them for wildlife viewing and home security.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been thrilled with my ecobee Home Security Bundle. Installation and configuration could not have been easier or more intuitive. Mount the sensors, open the ecobee app on your phone, step through adding the new device, and the security bundle was up and running in a couple of minutes. One of the things I like about ecobee products is they appeal to a wide range of Users. You can keep it very simple, or you can integrate their devices into a larger ecosystem for home automation. I also purchased the SmartCamera as part of the ecobee as part of the Home Security Bundle. And I already have an ecobee Smart Thermostat with Voice Control. These devices integrate through the ecobee App to create a very simple to use home security network for added peace of mind. And the Autopilot feature automatically takes care of turning on/off the security system and setting the thermostat to home/away as you come and go from your home. What a simple but effective design.

The best WebCam brand for casual users and online teachers. During the beginning of the pandemic there was a run on Logitech WebCams, making them unavailable for months. And there’s a reason for that. They are simply the best for the price with the best supporting software. In desperation I bought an offbrand that doesn’t even allow you to zoom in without buying separate software and then if you do use the separate software it slows things down. This model and Logitech are great because the camera provides crisp visuals, great sound and allows you to zoom in and focus on your face much better than other WebCams do. The provided supporting software is excellent because you can tune the camera how you want it (Zoom in or out, pan right or left, up or down, etc) then simply go back to your video conferencing software or whatever you’re using and it will use those settings for your session.

I purchased this camera for my residence and use it on a Mac mini with Security Spy software (excellent for Mac). The camera works great and Ive had it for a year no with NO issues. Auto tracking works great, able to read license on cars driving past my house. I highly recommend this. B & H made the purchase cost friendly and quickly processed.

The Synology Surveillance Station software is the best security camera software we have used, having tried two before this. It is more costly having to buy licenses for each camera you want to use but at least the licenses are transferrable between hardware upgrades and not bound to a specific camera's MAC Address or hardware. The software is very smooth and easy to use with advanced feature available if needed. It has otherwise been very plug-n-play switching over.

Great camera, flood light. Software works well. Integrates well with other Lorex security software. Trouble shooting instructions could be better. Tech support is excellent when the instructions do not work.

I bought this webcam for work at home and for live streaming and it has been great! Works amazing on windows AND mac with no issues at all. It comes with software that allows you to adjust the looks of the camera if you're not fond of how it looks right out of the box. Auto-focus is pretty good and it adjusts to light very well. The camera cover slides easy and works great to cover the lense. If you can't find the Logitech webcam available, then this is a great replacement.

This does exactly what I expect, powers the camera instead of using a battery. I've been using my camera as a webcam while I work from home and was starting to get frustrated when I wouldn't have video available because I accidentally left the camera on and drained the battery. With this adapter, that is no longer an issue and my team gets to see me in every meeting now.
