For my usage as a Wedding Photographer, this is the best lens in Canon's lineup. If I had to choose one lens to shoot an entire wedding with, it would be this gem. Lighting fast, tack share, even wide open (you have to be careful with your focus though as the depth of field is so narrow). I personally find it's sweet spot for silky bokeh is f/2.0 at 1/200+...gorgeous. It's the first lens I bought as I typically rent. I've used almost every lens in Canon's lineup other than the super telephoto's. This is easily my favorite. 5 |
