Western Digital Black 4Tb

I purchased three (3) of the Western Digital 4TB Caviar Black HDD's for my Mac Pro. The HDD's that Western Digital produces have never failed on me. Whether for video, music or data storage I can always count on Western Digital to be there. I would and have recommended Western Digital products.

I have always trusted Western Digital and their BLACK series is the best!!!!

Purchased with Western Digital 4TB My Passport For Mac portable external drive. This fits the drive very well, with enough space inside the case to also hold the USB 3 cable. Case also has an external pocket to hold other items such as USB thumb drives or SD memory cards.

I purchased three (3) of the Western Digital Internal 4TB HDD with a five (5) year warranty to install in my Mac Pro that already has one (1) Western Digital 4TB HDD in it. In the early 1980's I started using Western Digital for digital and analog storage in my computers. In 26 years of video editing I have never had a failure, and transferring data to new and larger HDD's has always been a seamless effort using the Western Digital Cloning software that is available with all the Western Digital HDD's.

I ordered two of these Western Digital 4TB drives for photo storage and I've been very pleased with their performance. They mounted without issue on my MacBook Retina and have been running daily since I purchased them. I would not hesitate to order them again.

I was astonished about this kind of "HD Black" from Western Digital. We bougth this 1 Gb device around ten years ago (maybe even before) because other cheaper disks were faulty and nearly every year.we had to change and reinstall. At current date we've been using it over 30 thousands "Power on hours" and nearly 2.000 "load cycles" as i do realise by analising disk statistics... also moving it along different desktops/mini servers along last decade!!! Also we keep care of it by using a UPS but certainly this specific disk "was born" with a good DNA!!! We hope all recent and modern WD Black series have the same duration as we're very happy for our experience... while simultaneously crossing fingers

I replaced the Blue Western Digital disk (WD10JPCX) in a Lenovo 310 notebook with the Black Western Digital disk (WD10JPLX).  Both are 1 Terabytes but the Black is 7200 rpm with 32 GB cache while the Blue is 5400 rpm with 16 GB cache.  The Blue failed after 2 years of use; not sure why. The Black is rated as a better disk and so far no problems.

I need you to get fast hard drives for my editing setup. Western Digital Black Series is the fastest and I got the best bang for my buck thanks B&H for having a good sale on them at the time I need it.

Easy to use. I depend on Western Digital for all my back-ups. I'm a freelance wildlife and fine art Black & White photographer.
