Western Digital Usb 3.0 External Hard Drive

It is exactly what is advertized: a black, USB conection, terabyte external hard drive made by Western Digital. It works and got to my house within 7-14 buisness days

Western Digital has always made good products. I've never had a problem with any of their USB external hard drives. I store and edit video from this hard drive and it works great. Very slender hard drive but durable. The cost is reasonable for what you get.

I expected nothing less of Western Digital because I bought one of their portable hard drives a few years ago. The 3.0 USB hard drive on the 1TB Elements SE has proven to be extremely fast even when transferring large amounts of files! I would recommend this product to anyone needing additional storage space!

I've been using these Western Digital USB 3 external hard drives for many years now. I've only ever had one fail out of a dozen or so, but that's why I always have two backups of everything. I now edit on an internal SSD, and then transfer two copies of the files to these drives. I've used the 4, 8, and 12 gig versions. Note that I previously used the GRaid drives to edit on. I also had one of them fail out of 5, and since they are Raid 0 (the fastest), you lose everything when they fail. I think out of 20 years of editing, I've only every had those 2 drives fail.

The 4 TB elements external desktop hard drive by Western Digital was an excellent choice for me to back up my new 3 TB iMac 5K retina computer. Over the years, after using many different hard drive brands, I settled on western digital exclusively. I've never had a problem with any of their hard drives,which cannot be said for Seagate or some of the other hard drive manufacturers. And it was a great price as well.

This is my third western digital external hard drive. So far they have been good to me, no problems at all. They are fast and reliable. Connection to the drive is strong and holds when moving the laptop around.
