I had previously used a dedicated shoulder strap with camera mount for my BCD when scuba diving, but when I need to detach it from my straps, it was a real hassle to do so, especially with thick gloves on and because I was fussing about with my camera there were things I missed filming and regret so to this day. Now, with this Magnetic Swivel Clip, I can attach my camera to any strap and whatever position I want on my BCD on it and the clip holds my GoPro very well, even when entering water from a boat; it also easily detaches when needed and clip back on without a second thought, even with 3-5 mm gloves on. My big advice when doing this is that you still have a strap or some cable attachment that loops around and binds to the plastic camera mount so even if the clip were to fail, it will still be attached to your BCD and it will dangle, allowing you to reattach the clip to strap (hasn't happened to me yet but just in case, you don't want to lose your expensive GoPro). I haven't tried the magnet attachment on back, but that's not what I am using it for since there's very little metal on my BCD to snap it to, also I don't trust it completely like I do the clip itself. Overall, very versatile and definitely a game changer when I can quick detach and reattach my camera to my BCD jacket strap when I need it, definitely worth the money to get the name brand clip!

I bought this for my scuba gear which includes a BCD, fins, boots, 3mil wetsuit, dive computer, camera case and light and all of the other misc small items needs for open water diving except weights and tank. It all fit and weighed in at 49.8 pounds. Perfect for checked luggage and more secure and protective than the rolling duffle I was using. . .the Blue color also makes it easy to spot at baggage claim.

This stand provides support for my MXL BCD-1 Microphone, and it does it in style. The base provides solid support, without taking too much space, the keeper holds the mic cord in place, and the height is easy to adjust. It does exactly what a mic stand should do, and the price is right!

I use it for scuba diving ! And it's attached to my bcd! With the GoPro camera attached it floats up so it's always easy to find ! Awsome !!!

I have tested this unit and it has been proven to allow a diver to turn tracking on, place it in the waterproof case, attach it to their BCD, and go diving. The unit automatically sends their position to anyone with permission passively while they are on the surface of the water so long as the unit is above the surface. The unit will transmit their position while in the waterproof case. In case of the diver becoming lost or needing to alert emergency services, the diver can remove the inreach from the waterproof case while on the surface, activate the SOS feature then either return the unit to the waterproof case or keep above the water out of the case, so long as the unit is above the water, it will transmit their location and two-way messages. I have the unit tethered to my BCD as it will not float in case I drop it. This unit is valuable in many other applications too; while out of all communications during a recent Florida hurricane, I was able to use this device to alert family members and it was my link to emergency services when cell was out. I will never be without one of these as it is the perfect compliment to my EPIRB and my float plan. I BLEED GARMIN!!!
