Whistler Wireless Backup Camera System Reviews

This backup wireless system is ideal for when I'm on the road. Gives me comfort knowing I have a backup system when I'm away from my computer.

I use this to provide backup power for my satellite internet, wireless router and VOIP phone system. Occasionally, it also powers my laptop and external LCD. Works great and has more than ample reserves. Functions out of the box with Apple Macs and seemlessly integrates with Energy Saver in OS X via the included USB cable. No Cons so far.

Sometimes it can be frustrating to read reviews on a product that range from exemplary five star reviews to negative trashing, all about the exact same product. Well, I hope this helps any and all looking for a wireless mic system for their camcorder. The Azden WMS-PRO VHF Wireless Lavalier system works perfectly, and sounds excellent! It does just what it says it does, and the I found the audio quality to be surprisingly great for the price. I have a large collection of high-end microphones, and this little lav mic holds up to well against them. I hope this helps anyone in the market for a wireless lav mic system.

I had a Behringer 100W system, but I needed to replace it. I chose the XP106 for all the features and reviews. The wireless headset is amazing, and it also came with a wired mic. I have other accessories as well and they all work great. I also take advantage of the bluetooth to play music. I use it several times a week in Assisted Living facilities with about 35 people in a big dining room area. I definitely recommend it.

I'm a bit of a gear head, and I have used many different types of wireless audio. Before purchasing this, I owned 4 different wireless mic systems, each with a specific use case (professional use for projects, weddings, etc). After one of my units failed on set, I came back to purchase the original Blink 500 to give it a shot as a last resort for a small wireless mic system, despite the drawbacks that people spoke of in reviews. Then I saw a video that was released the day prior advertising a new version with a screen! Decided to wait until it was available before buying the original. I'm glad I held out! This Blink500 Pro answers all the shortcomings that people brought up in reviews or comparisons. Screens on both transmitter and receiver takes the guesswork out of what each one is doing, and gives the ability to change settings. Easy USB charging (though microUSB, wish it was USB-C!). Mic and line in on transmitters w/built in mics; Headphone and line out on receiver as well. And the biggest upgrade in my opinion - the ability to send a stereo mix out or a mono out signal to the camera! This allows me to use this in more professional settings where I can independently mix audio from both transmitters. This alone is a great reason to upgrade. But we buy wireless audio not only for convenience, but for audio quality. I'm happy to report that this thing shines with crystal clear, low noise output with no dropouts in my tests and shoots. This will be my go-to system for most of my shoots going forward. I can't wait for the updated RxDi and RxUC mobile phone receivers to really expand this system for use on phones and tablets.

Believe all the reviews and hype about the benefit of 2 wireless subs! System instructions were easy to get set up. Follow the sequence when adding additional HDMI components. The remote is well organized and give full flexibility for balance, surround and Dolby selection. B&H shipped quickly with FedEx. The large heavy box is awkward without an appliance dolly to move it, so 2 individuals are best for bringing inside the house. Definitely superior to 3 sound bar systems I had previously

if your wireless unit fails you, this is your backup.

This pack was the best alternative we could find to the LowePro Whistler 350, which did not fit my wife (5'2). The Whistler 350 is a great pack for general landscape photography, providing excellent protection for camera gear and room for outdoor extras like outer layers, water, food, etc. but it simply could not be adjusted to fit my wife's smaller size, even though it fits me (5'11) perfectly. The Flipside Trek 350 is not as rugged, protective, or roomy as the Whistler 350 but it carries very well for my wife, is large enough, and it is a significant upgrade from her previous pack. We use Micro Four Thirds and for that format there is room for a body plus several lenses and accessories in the camera compartment, plus space for clothing, food and a tripod strapped on the outside. We have relied on LowePro packs and bags for our adventure photography since the mid-1980's and we own lots of them because they are functional, reliable and they are a good value. We are doing more landscape work and less adventure photography now so our pack needs are changing. This pack strikes a great balance for a smaller person's grab and go landscape pack.
