Purchased Brother HLL2480DW Wireless Black and White Laser Printer after with have an HP printer for a long time. What a difference! Easy set up and troubleshooting, quick printing and print quality.

I desired a printer that printed in black and white without our all the fancy extras. Epson WorkForce ST-M1000 is my ideal choice. While it may cost a more upfront than a cartridge printer, the replacement ink is a fraction of the price compared to cartridges. I also don't have to worry about replacing colored ink cartridges that tend to dry up before I use them. I prefer ink jet printers over laser printers because the toner in the laser printer makes me feel sick. I have had this printer for almost a month. I use it every day for my business. It is connected to my computer through the USB connection cable and I have had no issues. It came in the mail very well packaged with easy set up instructions. I am very happy with my purchase.

I switched from a color printer to a Brother black & white laser a few years ago. The printer is for my personal use and doesn't get excessive use. The print quality is great and the toner lasts a long time.

No streaks. I bought an off brand and had random spots and lines all throughout every page I printed. Had to go back to HP and I am thankful I did. I just want reliable color and not have to worry....my clients are happy and therefore I am happy:)

I have bought multiple types of laser printers but the best value (lowest cost per printed page) goes to HP LaserJet Pro M227fdn monochrome laser printer. It's just simple and inexpensive, as opposed to other printers in the market.

Brother makes a great Laser color printer, so you'd expect them to make great cartridges. AND they do!

Their toner is expensive compared to ink but you get so much more from it. End of the day i dont use my printer to print photos and need a reliable full house printer for kids school projects and what have you.

It's been over a decade since I've used or even heard of any laser printer under $1000 with a toner cost of less than 2 cents per page, let alone a *color* laser. This cartridge changes all that. At only 1.5 cents/page before taxes, it allows my Color LaserJet CP3525 to print black and white pages cheaper than the venerable LaserJet 4050 (1.9 cents/page) that I loved back in the day. Not to mention the amazing print quality. Grayscale dithering easily matches the ProRes 1200 of HP's high-end mono printers in terms of detail and smoothness, but completely blows it out of the water when it comes to contrast and depth. In fact, printed grayscale photos look like real black and white photographs! Yes, color toner for the CP3525 series is still very expensive (like almost all color laser printers), but that's not what this review is about. For black and white prints, it can't be beat. Highly recommended over the standard capacity cartridge.

We just purchased this new printer to replace our MFC-8890DW which we had for over 7 years....this was a real workhorse. This MFC-L8900CDW is "Great". Our first color laser. Normally we print all color docs on an InkJet...those days are now over. While some have commented that the dispslay panel is a tad laborious to navigate we found no problem with it. We use the Control Center 4 application to remotely setup any of the features and all works seamlessly with our network. It was basically take the printer our of the box, plug it in, and viola, the network found it immediately on all our devices...what a dream. We have only had this printer about a month so it's still in the trial period. The color docs we have printed so far are good. Not photo printer quality, but nonetheless, acceptable. The printers performance overall if five star....and the quality of the copies printed is far better than I've seen on other laser printers. This is truly a homerun for any office or home based business or just personal use.
