White Noise Through Yeti Microphone With Headphones

I bought this microphone from B&H because a friend recommended it to me. He said it worked well and sounded great, he was right! I needed a microphone for voice over work for personal video projects, along with school projects. I was using my iPod Nano for voice overs, with low sounding quality, until that broke, so I decided to try the Yeti. The sound quality is great on the Yeti! Voice overs are nice and crisp! The only thing I don't like about it is that it picks up noise from the desk being taped or bumped, and if you touch the case of the Yeti, you will hear the noise very loudly. Other than that, I am very pleased with this product! It is a bit bulky and heavy, but I don't really care, it fits nicely on my desk, and does its job! I can't comment on the durability of this thing, as I really don't want to actually test that, but I recon that if it is dropped, it will not last very long.

Great little microphone. Has a very crisp and balanced sound that is great for vocals and the run-and-gun style of shooting. It isn't powered so unless your camera has a good preamp (most don't) you'll get some white noise while recording. I'd recommend getting a little headphone amp to boost the signal so you can gain down the preamp on the camera which gets rid of all the white noise. The wind cover that comes with it works awesome, and looks pretty cool too! You get a lot for your money!

These headphones are simply amazing. Everything works perfectly, and the noise canceling works very well. The microphone is also great for calls and meetings. I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone.

Great pair of headphones. I use them in to a very noise environment for monitoring a video camera microphone and it performed excellent.

What can I say? Through the viewfinder 18 frames per second; through Live View 20 frames per second with an electronic shutter (no noise!!!). Shooting wildlife, particularly birds with rapid movements, it is The Bomb. I can't mentions all the features: the active LCD screen on the back will focus on a spot with the touch of your finger while in Live View, etc, etc, etc. I'm sold

The Blue Yeti Microphone is an excellent microphone for professional use!Most sites sell this for $150, but I got it for $ on B&H!...

I use the microphone to upload web based content on my websites and have found the Yeti Blue Microphone to perform very well. I recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing something for doing podcast, audio sound bytes, etc. The price was great as well.

We had a microphone that was no longer connecting. Through troubleshooting discovered it was the microphone transmitter. This part was an easy swap and quickly got our microphone back up and working again.
