For our Ltd Edition Fine Art Prints we like 'Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper' best.

Replaced 3 DA Limited primes. Super sharp wide open and consistent across the frame. Lightweight, WR, Metal construction. Definitely worthy of the LTD designation. Has wonderful bokeh and the great colors, contrast of the DA LTD primes. Autofocus is silent

I use the 31 Ltd on a K10D. It is one of the finest lenses that I have ever used and compares favorably with Zeiss/Contax prime lenses that I have used previously. Images are so crystalline that one would think that there was no glass whatsoever between the subject and the sensor. Two drawbacks are the nearly useless built-in hood and a moderate degree of barrel distortion.

A versatile focal length on a digital SLR. Being built for full frame film cameras there is more glass than strictly necessary for an APS-C sized sensor but that only makes things better - all the light is going through the sweet spots of the lens elements. Sharp even wide open and very sharp when stopped down, but even more important is the special rendering available from this great lens. Like the 77mm Ltd, (which I also have and treasure) the colours, hues, bokeh, and 3D imagery all want to make you use this lens more and more. Simply put this lens and the 77mm Ltd are capable of yielding such elegant images. I've looked at hundreds of images taken with the 31mm Ltd and can honestly say that only the Carl Zeiss 28mm T* Distagon F2 matches it, and only an equivalent focal length Leica exceeds it's sharpness in the corners. This lens is also a testament to Pentax's expertise with lens coatings. Recently I've also noticed that a number of Canon 5D professional users are mounting this lens on their cameras via adaptors - which is quite a testament. Wonderful build quality and every time you use it you feel you are associating with something aristocratic.

Very high quality image rendition. Sharp. It's everything they said it would be. I use it in cramped quarters, when my 77 LTD would be too long.

As a camera rental house, we constantly need to replace used equipment and upgrade. Camwerkz Pte Ltd is glad to have this purchase shipped fast. Items worked great with our 17 prompter setup.

I bought mine in 1988; still using it. Great functionality and it's been through the wringer. It's traveled with me everywhere and had everything in it from a Nikon N8008 to a Nikon D810. Thirty years old, tough as nails, obviously I swear by it.

I bought my first pair of Paterson developing trays in 1988 when I took a biophotography class. Later I changed their intended use and the trays became an useful tool for hand cleaning small seeds. The first pair have lasted over 25 years of constant use and exposure to sunlight. I hope these new ones will last as much so my children will have a chance to write a new review in the 2040s.

This adapter works well with all my lenses both old and new. It can be a little fussy with the mounting, but learned to be careful with that. Have lenses from 1988 that work just as well as brand new ones. It's a new toy that's fun to use.

Big, solid and dependable. Bought it new in 1988, had cold light head, color head for it. Used from 1988-2001. Put it in storage until recently and still works like the day I bought it. Because of the size I gave it away to someone who is just getting into 4x5 film. Very few people are looking for the chassis now, very expensive to ship. Full frame digital has pulled me away from film otherwise I would have found a way to use the enlarger.
