White Stereo Receivers

Use these for running lavs receivers into a mixer/recorder. No problems, but you have to be aware that it doesnt work for some devices depending on mono/stereo issues. For example this doesnt work to run a Sennheiser G4 RX unit into a single XLR input- that requires a stereo mini to split XLR channels.

Perfect replacement chord for some stereo receivers; in my case an RS 700 Yamaha receiver. Also works for some Fender guitar amplifiers. Did the job perfectly.

Bought 2 black and 2 white for my stereo mixer - all 4 for around $10 total. Quality is good, so really surprised by the low price. Thanks B&H!

I love the looking of my white play:5. Also, it sounds great by itself. I also like the possibility of expand with another play:5 and make a stereo pair, maybe in the future I will... I use it for music all around my house.

I bought this 5 pin-F to two 3 pin-M XLR connectors to connect an Azden SMX-1000 stereo microphone to a Canon XA-10 camcorder. This cable by Lewitt was half the price of the other such cables available. I gave it a try and it works just fine. Originally the cable is to be used with a dual capsule microphone for drums. Instead of 1/2 or L/R, the two 3-pin ends are green and white colored. Plugging the green labeled cable into the no1 XLR connector of the camcorder and the white labeled into the no 2 XLR connector, provided correct stereo (i.e. left is left and right is right). I also plugged the cable into the two XLR connectors of my Mackie 402 mixer, and again, it worked fine. Built quality is also good.

These little speakers have great sound quality. I tested them in an A/B stereo main speaker configuration against a pair of Design Acoustic PS8A speakers. Obviously they didn't have the low end of the PS8As, but they sounded crisp & bright in comparison. As surround speakers they are more than up to the job. The plugs in the binding post banana jacks were challenging to remove, but at least you only have to do that once. I bought a white pair & would have preferred the grills were white as well. I would recommend these and will look to Polk Audio for future speaker needs. I just wish they were made in the USA and not just designed here.

You could pay more for other high end receivers, but why would you?
