Whole Home Diy Security System With Cameras

I have a total of 5 cameras on this system up and running on the Lorex Smart Home Security Center . It is "basically " straight forward to get them running..... but not easy. you need to have passwords for each and identifying "names' of each. It is best to have all this info in a note on your phone so you can copy and paste it later in all the needed locations rather than figure out each one in real time 5 |

This was one of two cameras I purchased recently for a security system I installed on my home. It covers a side of my house where a boat and camper are stored. Installation was straightforward, mounted under the eaves of my roof, although it took me a minute to interpret the Ikea-like instructions for removing the cover when adjusting and installing. His-Vision had a digital video on their website that was helpful with that. Daytime picture quality is terrific. Nighttime is good, although this type of camera uses infrared, so the image is black and white. I have not fully mastered setting parameters for notifications, thanks to ADHD. Someday . . . 5 |

Easy to SetUp,Potentially Portable,No Monthly Cost The Lorex Home Center with two Wifi cameras has to be the easiest security system that I have ever setup. The system consists of two 1080p wifi cameras and a base station with a touch screen that displays the video from the cameras. All you have to do is download the app, plug in the base station, and plug in the cameras. The app is then used to setup the cameras wirelessly. Because the cameras and base station are plugged in and not hard wired, the base station can be moved from room to room or the system can potentially be used at another location. The wifi cameras are designed for outdoor use; however, I setup one outdoors on my back porch and the other inside looking out through my front window. Video from the back porch camera was very clear and video through the front window was as clear as possible considering that there will be reflection from the window. The base station also includes voice control so that if you wanted to see what is happening in your backyard you would say something like "Lorex, show me backyard." In summary, if you are looking for an easy to setup security system that can potentially be used at several locations and with no monthly cost, I would recommend considering the Lorex Home Center. 5 |

Before purchasing the Orbi Whole Home Tri Band Mesh WiFi 6 system, I had plenty of “dead zones” around the house. After installing the Orbi, I have excellent signal throughout the home, backyard, and front driveway! I hope that this never changes as time goes on. So far, so good. I’m extremely happy with this purchase. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System is better than advertised. The setup was very easy. My entire home (3200 Sq. feet) is covered from upstairs, downstairs, and backyard deck area with over 900 mbs of download speed consistently. I would recommend this product to everyone who is teleworking regularly, streaming constantly, and with a couple of gamers in the home... Orbi is a must have product. The Bitdefender network security is topnotch too. 5 |
