These radios are amazing. Installed in my Jeep above my rear view mirror and I am stoked about it. It’s small enough to not be in the way but is great for communicating with fellow Jeep’s. I used the ghost antenna so that it didn’t get wiped out by limbs on the trail. I’m thinking of purchasing the 6db antenna to help increase my range. I feel you can’t go wrong with this radio! Will be purchasing another for my sons Jeep.

In the mid-1980s I bought a Nikon 7.5mm f5.6 circular fisheye. Being an older design (1966) its rear elements protruded into the mirror box. Fortunately my F3 had a hard physical mirror lockup. The external viewfinder for this lens attached to the camera on the original Nikon F/F2’s proprietary flash shoe. I was able to buy an AS-3 flash adapter for the F3. With the F3s mirror locked up I also had to use an hand-held light meter. With amazing depth of foield focusing was never an issue. The old zoom lens had six filters on a wheel. One was a skylight and the other five were strongly colored for B&W film. While I liked the circular results, using the lens was a hassle. I often had my shoes or forehead in the picture. On a sunny day, my images suffered from solar flares. My new Nikon 8-15mm AF-S fisheye has none of those old problems. It fits on my DSLRs without any problem. It doesn’t need an external finder or separate light meter. At the 8mm setting (and lens hood off) I get a circular image very much like the vintage fisheye. The new lens is faster and focusable. Like my 14mm f2.8 Nikkor, this zoom uses gel filters inserted in the rear of the lens. I really don’t like this arrangement. This fisheye is similar in weight and size to the 14mm lens. I am also not fond of the electronic aperture control first seen on G lenses. Without an aperture ring one cannot use this zoom on older cameras. At the longer end of the zoom range (12-15mm) the image fills the (FX) frame and lens hood stays out of the way. This image is similar to my inexpensive Bower (Samyang?) 8mm fisheye with its fixed lens hood (and DX coverage). So far I haven’t used my new lens much but I think I will like it.

High performance, low cost lens is extremely useful and truly expands your capabilities in many situations. The ability to capture extra wide images adds a new dimension to one's repertoire. This lens is sharp enough with good bokeh. One can shoot large objects and buildings without running a quarter mile away. You can get closer and still see a large view, avoiding the narrow tunnel vision provided by normal lenses. It is great for capturing large groups, especially indoors, and expansive landscapes without stitching multiple images as a panorama in post processing programs to get the big picture. It is especially adept in museums, factories, restaurants and other close quarters where you want a wide, full view. While it is not a professional lens with a price tag to match - it IS a good, high quality, reasonably sharp low distortion, useful lens at an affordable price. It definitely punches above its weight class. I wish I had purchased this lens years ago. As always, B&H promptly and safely delivered the right item at a competitive price. JR

Good price point for this multi-function camera. Very clear wide view, sound and voice. Lights and siren. Motion is the only option missing. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this wide-angle lens! The price is very affordable, it provides a nice wide view without giving the image a fish eye look. Great if you are a real-estate agent taking picture of rooms, or just want everything in the picture. I personally use it for night photography of the Milky Way Galaxy.

I typically carry 2 lenses with my Sony a6500: a fast f/1.8 35mm prime, and this f/2.0 Rokinon 12mm wonder lens. This lens, in particular, jives very well with the a6500 -- the Rokinon lens doesn't feature any sort of image-stabilization, but I can still take handheld shots without blur thanks to the a6500's internal IS. For shooters using an a6000, a6300, or any NEX-series Sony camera without in-body image stabilization, this lens still works a treat when mounted on a tripod. The fast aperture and very wide field of view combine to make it an excellent lens for taking night stills, since the lens offers a wide-enough field of view to include some land reference points to frame your shots of the night sky. This lens also performs very well when capturing landscapes, so long as you watch your aperture to make sure that you don't wash out a scene in good light. Yes, it would be great if this lens offered autofocus or allowed the camera to adjust the aperture internally (the aperture is manually-controlled, as well, so you'll want to shoot in either Aperture mode or full Manual), but those features would drive up the price well above the $300-ish where this lens currently sits. Sony makes a great mirrorless APS-C camera, but the high price of quality glass for the system has always been a disappointment, especially compared to what similar lenses cost for other system mounts. This lens is an outlier in that regard, in that it offers a specific professional-grade feature set (very fast aperture, wide field of view) if you can look past some of the trade-offs (no zoom, inaccurate distance markings, manual focus & manual aperture adjustment, focus ring allows you to focus a noticeable distance *past* infinity). In my opinion, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks, and the lens's performance more than justifies its modest price tag.

The 10x42 Zeiss Conquest Binoculars I purchased are worth the price. The field of view is wide and the clarity of the image is fabulous with a center focus that doesn't involve constant readjustments. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will get many years of enjoyment from using them.

No distortion combined with a wide view angle at a reasonable price. The depth of field is so deep that manual focus is not an issue. The long throw of the focus ring allows for precise focus. Very happy.

This works well as a head strap but it also works if you want to use it to wrap around something that may be easily scratched. This could mean the side view mirror of a car or maybe just to wrap around your pet. Over all, this product is one to have handy.
