Widest Range On A Brass Instrument

Need I say any more? It works!! Excellent reproduction of Brass Instrument Sounds! How can this be possible at sub $100??

This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape.

I tested all three natural fiber matte papers.  I thought Agave had the widest dynamic range, produced a whiter white, and had this really random and natural texture. It is a superb paper.

Next to B&W film, this film has the widest dynamic range of any color film. While many would not use this for landscape photography, I use it for just this purpose because of the beautiful tonality. Any of its shortcomings for this purpose such as lack of color saturation or color balance can be corrected by computer, whereas dynamic range can't be corrected. This film has enabled me to get certain images impossible to accomplish even by HDR digital means.

I've tried just about everything that has come across my path, for color film, but I continue to come back to Portra. The colors are the most realistic, over the widest range of outdoor lighting conditions. Best choice for medium format color film.

By experience I discovered this paper has the widest saturation range on the market and also wide dynamic range. Subsequently I met a recent grad from a MA program in Art who had made the same discovery in a more systematic manner. It has a slight texture which works well with the right composition. Its my preferred medium for most work calling for a glossy surface.

Better than Hosa's Pro range instrument cables. Worked out cheaper than soldering my own.

This is a good lighting instrument for a back light or other compact environment. The color range let me warm up the backlight when combined with other daylight-balanced keys. Very solid yoke construction means the light firmly locks into position when you tighten it down. That's important when you attach a heavy battery for DC power. I recommend the barndoors to give you better control of focus and spill. Great value and a good addition to my lighting arsenal!
