Wifi Card Desktop

I love everything about this camera. Almost. Two requests: when set for 4k or 120fps video, can you force the camera to the CFast card? Pulling a card out will reset the camera to the CF slot. Then the 4k is only 1080 on the CF, or it craps out and while the camera is on my Ronin, I am unaware. :-( Provide some warning message OR a menu option to control this. Also, WiFi will be finicky when reconnecting to my iPad (which is dedicated only to the Canon wifi) when the camera gets powered off momentarily for battery change or lens or card... time consuming and annoying on set. The app and wifi should just reconnect, like every other WiFi. Otherwise, a perfect beast. Image quality, both still and video, is astounding.

I needed some extra ethernet ports for my internet. Wifi is nice but ethernet is boss for desktop and TV. It was easy to install and worked as stated. Checked internet speed and it showed 950 meg. This setup will allow me to install a second wifi 50 ft. out in the garage for outdoor use.

The fact that I have to be in the same WiFi network is annoying. Also it doesn't connect to my ethernet connected desktop computer.

I have had this for about a year and it has worked great. It provides wifi throughout my entire house at the same speed as my wired desktop. I would be happy to buy another should the need arise in a few years.

I'm using this with a 2008 Mac Pro desktop that doesn't have WiFi built-in. This is the perfect solution for connecting an old Mac like that to the internet. Apple's Airport chip for Mac Pro has been discontinued, and even if you manage to get your hands on one, it is extremely difficult to install inside the Mac Pro. This unit, on the other hand, is extremely easy. Just plug it in, install the software, and you are good to go. Picks up a signal from a wireless router about 100 feet away with no problem.

Installed in my 11 Year old HP Desktop after using a USB WiFi adapter for a few years. Tripled my speed and eliminated incomplete page loads and failed downloads. Very easy to install. Never needed the disk - Windows10 found and installed a driver. Being able to mount the antenna away from the back of the PC really improved my signal. The magnetic mount was a real plus for my situation. Bluetooth also installed automatically by Windows. Can't comment on it since I have no device connected. Would highly recommend and would purchase again.

This switch sits on my desktop and handles traffic. It connects my desktop PC to my wifi printer. It also provides a port to pug in my laptop when I want to us it on my desktop.

I purchased this to handle a weak wifi signal in my basement where I have a desktop and smart TV. So, I debated whether to get a wifi extender or a switch. Decided it was worth it to run a cable from my router to the basement and use a switch. This one time install was worth it. Nothing beats wired. This switch really is plug and play. No issues at all. Netflix and YouTube stream fast and flawlessly. Kudos to B&H as well for super fast shipping. Received it in 2 days.

When our community changed our internet to WiFi I had a desktop and laptop that required an adapter to replace the Ethernet hookup previous used. The first A6100 I purchased worked so well on my laptop and setup was as easy as plugging it in and turning on my computer, that I purchased a second one for my desktop. I would highly recommend it. The cost can’t be beat and no more cables!
