Wifi Card For Digital Camera

I love everything about this camera. Almost. Two requests: when set for 4k or 120fps video, can you force the camera to the CFast card? Pulling a card out will reset the camera to the CF slot. Then the 4k is only 1080 on the CF, or it craps out and while the camera is on my Ronin, I am unaware. :-( Provide some warning message OR a menu option to control this. Also, WiFi will be finicky when reconnecting to my iPad (which is dedicated only to the Canon wifi) when the camera gets powered off momentarily for battery change or lens or card... time consuming and annoying on set. The app and wifi should just reconnect, like every other WiFi. Otherwise, a perfect beast. Image quality, both still and video, is astounding. 5 |

Best WiFi camera This camera has all the same functionality as a Nest cam and it also has a memory card in it so you dont have to pay for a service. The picture is very clear, notifications are easy and you can set it up for human detection, again, something you have to pay for with nest. App is very easy to use and for the money, this is by far the best option. 5 |

Canon did not include an USB cable with my camera purchase. I would either use WIFI or take out the memory card to upload to my PC. The Canon software did recognize my camera using WIFI but downloading was slow. Using the card straight in my PC was faster, but my Canon software would not recognize my card when I plugged it in. Now with the USB cable I just plug it in my camera and it recognizes it and downloads fast. 5 |

Excellent home WiFi camera at a great price The Lorex Indoor WiFi Network Security Camera is an excellent camera from many perspectives. Design and Look-This camera has a great modern look and is small enough to place almost anywhere. Video Resolution and Quality-The 1080p resolution provides great quality video where every detail is shown including faces even when zooming the screen. Night Vision-The night vision is very clear with faces easy to make out. Field of view-Due to the wide angle lens, the field of view is really good since you can see the whole room instead of just part of it. This alleviates the need to be able to pan. You can also zoom within the image to get closeups if items or people in the image. The included SD card is nice. It is adequate since the recordings write over the oldest ones so the card does not get full and lose recordings or events. Person Detection-This feature works well except it does sometimes pick up my dog as a person. Overall this is an excellent purchase if you want a stand-alone camera that dies not require a DVR or cables except a power cord. 5 |

I've had this camera for about a year now and have used it for outdoor photography on climbing and skiing trips where I need something that fits in my pocket. I'm not super camera savvy and so I find that 99% of the time, auto-shooting mode combined with some light Adobe Lightroom post-processing produces exactly the kind of images I'm after. All the 1-star reviews have to do with it's lack of WiFi connectivity. This has nothing to do with the quality of the images produced so these reviews are stupid; I use a card reader and have had no issues. WiFi connectivity with my Mac does indeed not work, but with my iPhone it is seamless when the Canon app is downloaded. I prefer using the card reader anyway. 5 |

This SDXC to CF adapter did exactly what I wanted. It lets me use SDXC cards in my Canon 40D DSLR. This is convenient because my laptop has an SDXC slot, so I can pop the card in there to transfer pictures without having to use an external card reader or to tether my camera to the computer with a cable. I've had no trouble with throughput speed using this adapter, but my camera is an older one that does not caputer video, so my speed requirements are not high. I have not tried using a wifi-enabled SDXC card, so I can't say whether there would be any interference with the wifi signal getting through the adapter and the body of my camera. 5 |

I like to directly transfer photos from my camera to my computer, rather than WIFI transfer. I had been using the SD card, but didn't like removing the card all the time. With this cable, I can use image capture on my Mac to see the photos on the camera. I can delete the ones I don't like and quickly import those I like. I bought from B&H because I trust that any product I buy from them will be exactly as described. Some other websites featured cables identified as Canon, but readers comments indicate they were not genuine. I also like the ease of ordering and the quick delivery I get with B&H Photo. This cable was exactly what I needed, and I got it fast. 5 |

I just inserted the adapter into my camera SD memory card slot. Went to my camera wifi settings and launched the wifi transmission and my phone's Canon app immediately located the signal and I had the pictures I selected on my iphone instantly. It was a breeze. I already had the Canon app on my phone that works with another Canon camera I own with built in wifi. 5 |

Before I used this product I used white paper as recommendedby Canon for my 30D. I put lines on the paper for focus andset white balance as custom. The paper was difficult to useand keep with me. Since buying the gray digital card, I havefound it to be more accurate than white paper and easier touse. The digital gray card produces perfect custom whitebalance and works every time. It has a focus spot to get thecorrect image for setting up in-camera custom white balance. One time I used both the gray card and the white card (onthe lanyard) and found the gray card produced the correctwhite balance over the white card. Now I never take a shotwithout setting the custom white balance to the gray card. Ido this in-camera so I don't have to make adjustments inpost processing. The gray card also gives the correct lightreflection for digital camera exposure. Most books say thegray card should reflect at 18%, but that is not correct fordigital. See article on the internet by Thom Hogan who says digital camera makers set exposure meters to near12% gray reflectance, 18% is based on printing standards. This gray card is closer to 12% and is very accurate.I like the lanyard. When I'm outdoors I keep it on my neckso I can periodically reset the custom white balance as Ishoot. Inside under lights, I use it one time and I'm setfor the shoot. I highly recommend this card for seriousphotography, and it is inexpensive as photo equipment goes. Expertise: Advanced / non-pro 5 |

Have used a Canon A1 film camera for many years and then everything went digital so caved in and bought a little Casio 4mp point 'n' shoot that has worked quite well for what it is. Decided that it really is time to upgrade my film Canon to digital so bought an SL1 with an 18-55mm IS STM kit lens + a 55-250mm IS STM telephoto. So far, after limited use, they have performed very well. Everything really is light, compact and so quiet compared to my A1. Working to adapt some of my older, good quality lenses to use with it. Still working my way round all of the options but so far I'm enjoying playing with it. I'm sure that there will be aspects that will prove not to be so good after I've had a chance to explore all of the features, but it really is so far so good. They really should include an SD card (even if small) with the system. Not realizing that one wasn't included, I had to head off to get one before I could take a few shots. But then that made me get a 32GB card so now I have plenty of shooting memory. BTW, interaction with B&H was good so I've decided to get a few additional items through them. 5 |
