Wifi Ip Cameras For Home

My IP PTZ cameras love these.

Works as advertised. I love the plugged-in power so that the cameras are always on and recording. I liked that the wifi cameras connect to the NVR via my home (mesh) wifi network and not its own "home base wifi station" (b/c then I may need repeaters; I got a home mesh wifi network so I wouldn't need repeaters).

I have a wifi only laptop that I wanted to use to test a newly purchased IP camera on. The adapter allowed me to connect a ethernet cable to my IP camera for testing. After giving the adapter a IP address in the same range as the camera my system connect with the camera perfectly. I would highly recommend this adapter for anyone needing to add ethernet wired access to there wifi laptop.

Both ethernet and wifi have been great. I finally was able to setup port forwarding and static ip rules with no issues. Also love the traffic analyzer in the GUI.

We are a developer of command and control software and often buy various brands of IP cameras to test with our software suite. This camera was an addition late last year and we've actually deployed it on our property (mostly for testing). We cannot say enough about Axis products... this camera works as advertised and was easily integrated into our software. It is ONVIF compliant and provides crystal clear video. We are located in Florida and rarely use the defogging feature, but we would love to have self cleaning optics (a feature starting to appear on high end IP cameras) since the camera is located nearly 30 feet in the air making it difficult to clean... but that is the only thing we had in the wish it had it column. Overall a highly versatile and functional PTZ IP camera... we highly recommend this one!

This switch makes it easy to add Ethernet ports to your home network, you just need to run an Ethernet cable from your router to the switch, then reboot your system to make sure the IP addresses are assigned and you can still “see” all of your devices. I had a NAS drive that was assigned a new IP address after the install, and rebooting the pc helped fix the access issue. I was able connect another pc as well as another device to my network very quickly, all connected at 1GB/s.

I really like the Synology NAS! Setup was easy, I just watched a YouTube video and I was set. It appeared on my home network and I was able to begin copying files to it right away. Pro tip: Assign an IP address to the MAC address in your home router so it has the same IP address for the rest of its life.

We have just recived the LPR and it is as large as it looks in the image. It is quite big. Much bigger than even large IP cameras. It appears very well built and it is quite heavy. We will be setting it up and using it very soon. I hope to update this review as there are not many reviews on high priced IP cameras on this site, or anywhere on the internet really. Ill be back with an update soon
