Complete game changer. Way better than any signal booster. Just set up a second wifi router on the other end of the house. Love it.

Works as expected. You definitely need a signal booster when using a cable this long.

The Polsen XP-2 2-Channel Microphone Signal Booster is not something I realized I needed until I started using it. I am using it to boost the signal on my desk microphone and it's connected through my Senal USB adapter which provides the phantom power. It can add up to 25db of clean gain which is impressive. I didn't realize the difference this would make until I actually hooked it up and started using it daily. I no longer have to be right up on my microphone to get a reasonable signal output. The other application I tried this out with was some interviews I recently shot where the interview subject was soft-spoken. Being able to get that extra gain really came in handy. I like that the xlr has locking connectors and that this is plug-and-play. It's made of all metal and feels rugged so it should hold up to some punishment over time. It works great, now the only issue is I have to buy another to match my other setup. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

I live in a dense WiFi zone. WiFi Analyzer on my phone shows 20 networks. We're particularly inundated with signal from the school across the street. I had three TP-Link or Apple devices setup in the house and couldn't really get good signal from 20 feet away especially on 5GHz. I installed the Ubiquiti on the closet ceiling of the bedroom in the middle of the upstairs. The house is three stories, 45 feet long, 20 feet wide. Lots of old wire mesh in the walls from the days of plaster. The signal is now strong in every room and workable outside.

I used my phone to measure the signal from my main WiFi router and find a good place. I plugged the TP-Link unit into an extension cord and taped it behind a CD rack. It now gives a good signal out on the patio and in all the bedrooms. No phone/TV/iPad/... needed to change because it kept the main SSID & PW.

Had a hiccup during setup, needed to move to a new room and try again even though phone had good wifi signal. Since then no issues, I do recommend the pro head strap if you want to play something like BeatSaber for 2 hours without having to readjust all the time, great fit once I added that. Super fun for the whole family, even got the grandparents into fishing.

set-up was simple, easy to control with phone app. Wifi signal strength is good. Handles our 16 connected devices well. Speed is good for our uses. Well satisfied with the purchase.

The WiFi signal covers my house and driveway well.

Long cables tend to degrade signal. This cable has the booster midway to solve that problem.

I am using a 50ft HDMI extension: source-50ft cord-booster-8ft cord. At first no signal would come though. When I added the booster, the signal worked but would drop intermittently. So I added the power adapter and everything works fine.
