Wifi Range Extender For Arris Router

I purchased this router as a range extender. It works excellently.

We purchased the Netgear Orbi to replace an Arris cable modem/router because we had low WiFi signal issues in parts of our home. The Orbi was simple to install and we saw a dramatic improvement of WiFi coverage throughout our house with near maximum speeds everywhere. We connected the satellite with a hardwired connection to achieve this throughput. We were also able to assign static IP addresses to some of our network equipment (NAS’s) to allow easy access and alphabetic naming for those devices. The slightly higher price tag is justified by the performance and advanced configuration options. Great performance!

works well. I have the wifi router on the bottom floor and use this 1 floor up as a wifi extender - I went from 1-2 bars to at least 3. would buy again.

Just installed in my house. As compared to the standard COX Panoramic WiFi, AT&T Arris, Linksys E4200, & Motorola NVG589 routers, this solution way outperforms anything I have ever had in my house. It even way outperforms my Linksys E6800 AC1750 Wireless Range Extender solution. All three mesh devices were configured as AP's Access Points, and hardwired ethernet to the primary AT&T U-verse Arris Router. I turned off all WiFi from the AT&T Arris Router and only used the 2.4G & 5G WiFi from the TP-Link Mesh Devices. I thought about using the DHCP routing functions from the TP-Link Mesh, but I needed a few more ethernet ports on them. I also have my AT&T Router connected to two 32-port switches which provide Hardwired Ethernet connections throughout my house. There are about 40 hardwired devices and 20 WiFi devices at this location. I try to keep most of devices hardwired due to better dependability and faster connection speed. Maybe there is a better way, but his is working very well for me now. No more WiFi no-connection and low speed issues throughout my house. From now on I will always recommend a Mesh solution. And this product is a very good solution.

Awesome WiFi extender. Now I just need to upgrade my router from the vendor supplied router

Needed Wifi signal that was too far from the router for a Wifi extender to reach the area needed. A run of cat6 cable and this device made it easy to do. App made it easy to convert to an access point once it connected to the router. Now have Wifi throughout the warehouse! Would recommend this product. B&H service was great as usual.

I bought another wifi extender again believing hat was the issue but finally got this Nighthawk router. It works so well in my 2000 square feet apartment that I don't even need the extenders. You won't be sorry for buying this! It's affordable and works so well!

1. Router & Extender work well to cover all our devices. Wifi 6 is a game changer. 2. Had issues with setup (really unexpected), and had to factory reset the Extender but worked perfectly after that. 3. Placement may be an issue but you have to reach a balance of distance & free receptacles. 4. No backhauling for my setup. 5. B & H delivery is superior to others.
