For a wall plug extender this thing has great range and great speeds. Nighthawk app doesn’t work for setup even though it’s advertised, but still easy to setup locally. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This extender is great! I needed a way to plug in multiple usb/usb-c type devices at once and this cable is perfect for it. You need a usb-c dongle (plug) in order to use this that you have to buy separately, but when you have it you can charge so many different devices. 5 |

Undoubtedly a great product but does appear a direct connection to the computer versus a USB extender. On the other hand, some powered USB may support it fine. Remember to reboot your Mac after connecting to another USB extender as the device driver kernel requirements may not be able to dynamically alter the changed addressable address. Also, it may be that this SuperDrive requires a bit more power than provided by many generic equivalent drives. Of course, Apple strives to provide a great product and I suspect this is one of them. 5 |
