Wifi Range Extender That Works With Arris Modem

We purchased the Netgear Orbi to replace an Arris cable modem/router because we had low WiFi signal issues in parts of our home. The Orbi was simple to install and we saw a dramatic improvement of WiFi coverage throughout our house with near maximum speeds everywhere. We connected the satellite with a hardwired connection to achieve this throughput. We were also able to assign static IP addresses to some of our network equipment (NAS’s) to allow easy access and alphabetic naming for those devices. The slightly higher price tag is justified by the performance and advanced configuration options. Great performance!

Solid replacement for a old modem, much faster with better range for Wifi use.

This is just a modem with no wifi router. It works very well.

Modem does everything I wanted after dealing with a ISP rented ARRIS modem very easy for someone to set up on their own.

We had an earlier/lower model Arris modem that kept rebooting, causing us to replace and upgrade. Works as advertised. Fast connection speed that has, to date, been very reliable (no auto-rebooting).

The extender setup was a breeze. It connected easily to my home network. It has extended the range of the WiFi significantly to the other end of the house. This sure beats the cheap knock-off I bought, which never was able to connect properly.
