I have a Sonos home theater system (Beam, Mini Sub, Sonos 1s') in my living room, and I had an unrelated stereo music setup in another room. I recently bought a turntable which I hooked up to my passive speakers and my older stereo receiver. So I bought the Sonos amp to replace the receiver. Beyond the expected Sonos connection I found an unexpected dramatic improvement in sound quality from my turntable/speakers. Now my stereo sounds great with my vinyl collection and can be played n my living room and anther room where I have additional Sonos speakers. Fantastic! The amp has also given me other benefits -- a TV connected to it via HDMI, IOS control, etc. Well worth the cost.... 5 |

We use this for stereo music in our home. It replaced another brand that was glitchy, lost connection to the wifi and was not reliable. The Sonos just plain works, every time without fail. Sound quality is superb! 5 |
