Wifi Routers Compared

This is one of the best WiFi Routers and modems I have ever purchased. We stream TV and works without fail. Cant go wrong with Netgear Nighthawk products. We own a Mesh Nighthawk in our other home where we had trouble with other routers but now its perfect. Great routers!

I upgraded to the Nest Wifi Mesh Router (4 routers, 1 point) system from Netgear Orbi (1 router, 2 satellites) because the Orbi signal was not reaching all the way to through my new, bigger home and outside cameras.  My new setup has drastically improved everything! The 5 Nest units were less expensive than if I exchanged out the old Orbi for their new system.

If you have a large house and are having trouble getting wifi to some of the areas, then the Orrbi RBK853 is the router for you! I have had several routers before this one and none of them could reach the far reaches of my house.The Orbi does it without a problem. There are 63 devices connected to the Orbi and room for plenty more.This is a great product and while a little expensive, is well worth the money in my book!

A lot of choices these days in wifi routers. After review, we chose the zen 12 2-pack. We replaced a tp-link deco 4 unit mesh system that after only 2 years…so a 2 unit was a risk in a large sprawling 2-story house. But..so far it is carrying the load….plenty of power, plenty of coverage. Those are the ‘pro’s’ I care about. The ‘con’s’ are there are just too many options to select from as you go through screens, many I have no idea what they are. It would be nice if this was fumed down a little. The guest network setup is nothing like we had before and is just too complicated. You set it up by choosing one of three bands, set time limits…. and so on. We used to just hit an on/off switch after setting up a name and password. This really needs to be redone.

I bought these two routers to go with the Synology RT2600 and I could not be more impressed with Synology products. These two add onto my wifi network to create a 2.4G and 5G mesh that easily expands 5,000 feet. Inside / outside / back deck / front mailbox / neighbor's house! All seamlessly transferring signal for my device between routers. I also own a Synology NAS and that thing rocks as well. This is an awesome company and I can't wait until I find more products I can buy from them.

Having used many different PCIe wifi adapters of various brands as well as ASUS, I have found ASUS TO BE SUPERIOR in not only their wifi adapters but also their wireless routers and motherboards. I currently use three of the PCE-AXE58BT adapters as well as one PCE-AX58BT with my ASUS AXE11000 router in MESH with four ASUS ET8 Routers. My results have been excellent 6e signal transmission as well as with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz signals. Performance is rock solid with high transmission rates as advertised. I also prefer the Bluetooth feature of these ASUS adapters to other solutions - it is always reliable. Of note, Windows 11 and 6e capable routers are required to utilize the 6e band on this adapter. The AXE58BT is currently the best upgrade around.

ASUS has kept my family online with WiFi routers for over 10 years. Every time I’ve bought a new router it has been an ASUS flagship model. ASUS routers have never been a let down. I wish I could afford to buy 2 more and “mesh” my home with hardwired CAT cable.

I have bought a few netgear routers in the past for home and business, and this one is by far the best, quickest WiFi router I have had. Very happy with this purchase.

Because of the layout of our building there is a lot of interference with the Wifi waves.  We had an option of buying several routers and switches along with the Cat-6 cables involved - or trying this unit.  We opted to try this and we are quite pleased.  It boosts our signal into places that were otherwise dead spots.

We have tried several different routers, extenders, and internet providers over the years to try to maintain a strong wifi signal. This one finally has what we are looking for! The wifi signal is strong throughout the house and it can output the internet speed we actually pay for!
