Wifi Thermostat With Battery Power

Got it to keep my router and wifi running in a power outage, which does require less power than keeping a computer connected. Power went out about a month later, and it worked great. I kept the occasional chirp on so that I was aware when the battery was in use. I also like the AVR feature, which supposedly prevents line fluctuations from switching to the battery unnecessarily and prolongs battery life.

I own a few different OTA's and mounts. The Evo 8 is the one I usually pick when I want a no hassle quick set up for viewing. Let's face it, if a scope is difficult and frustrating to set up your going to lean towards the easier one every time. The technology packed into the Nexstar Evoloution 8 just blows my mind. The SkyPortal app seamlessly works with the mount in a very smart way. You can easily explore the night sky in one evening by just clicking on the apps touch screen and the mount will slew and lock on. Then if you want, most objects have audio explanation that you can listen to. The mount is very portable and is electrically self-contained with built in battery that lasts a good 10 hours. Celestron even thought to put a USB power receptacle so you can power your WiFi device if needed off the built in battery. They even included an adjustable red LED light that's mounted in the mount arm to light up your upper eyepiece tray. WiFi Communication between your I device and the mount gives you complete wireless control. Celestron also includes a wired hand controller, if you choose to use it. The only reason I would use the wired hand controller would be as a backup to the WiFi. Also, another nice feature of the mount are the alt and azimuth clutches. Just unlock and move in either axis and re lock. I foresee this technology being used on more Celestron mounts in the future. It's pretty darn awesome.

I put this battery backup/solar generator to use and was not disappointed. It is currently hooked up to 300W solar panels and provides pass-through power to my medium sized residential refrigerator. Excess power goes to recharge the batteries when the sun goes down and it still powers the refrigerator. I took this out camping and was able to power my tent trailer for about 18 hours on a single full charge operating led lights' occasional water pump, and constant 3 way Dometic refrigerator (on AC setting). The refrigerator seems to have a constant draw even when the inside and contents are already cooled. The EcoFlow is heavy and cumbersome to carry by myself. But it does come with solid wheels that make it easy to roll around with the extendable handle. Remote app works fine and can connect via BT or WiFi. When through WiFi I can still control it when I am far away and connected with Internet. This is a keeper for me and will definitely be used as backup power in the event of a power emergency, or when I need power in remote situations.

I added this UPS to my equipment that is feeding my wifi network, and it works beautifully. Keep in mind I was given a free sample for an unbiased review. Our local power company seems to randomly kill the power for a few seconds on weekday mornings. This initiates a reboot on all of my equipment and kills my connections when I am working from home. I added this UPS to take care of that annoyance and it works exactly as I would expect. There is actually enough power in the battery to keep my network operational for 1 1/2 hours (according to the digital screen) which is plenty for the annoying outages. I have a cable modem, my wifi router (google), and two network devices plugged into the UPS side of the power bank. There are two minor annoyances with this device (not bad enough to lower my review) The first is that the battery backed up outlets are all on one side of the device and they are very close together. To get your devices plugged in you will probably need some kind of extension - I plugged another power strip into it - and all is good. The second is that when you lose power (as happened at 2am a few nights ago) there is a very annoying alarm - letting you know that the power is out. You need to go to the unit to silence the alarm - I would prefer to not have an alarm at all - or only sound the alarm if you have 10 min left in the battery. I have recommended this unit to friends and family alike as it is an awesome addition to my connected household.

this Thermostat was very easy to setup can set with one finger just slide up or down to where you want and walk away its that easy can also setup WIFI very easy to take phone or tablet and set it there wife loves it if you are in bed and forget to set it just pickup phone and set it ITS THAT EASY ! ! !

I changed from the Nest thermostat that I had for years because I was starting having issues with the thermostat from the WiFi ,to the schedule and Google moving everything to the Google Home app so I gave The Ecobee a try and I am glad I did it has working perfectly during the cold weather that we had. I was able to install it easily in 20 minutes even before the house got cold.

Love the NEST thermostat! Easy to install. Just follow the directions. Easy to connect to wifi. App works great and love the ability to connect to the Amazon ECHO. Let's you control the temperature using Alexa!

Bought this for a wifi thermostat with no c wire. Had it up and running in no time. The screw in option is great to keep it in place

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Ecobee thermostat for years (EMS Si WiFi generation) and the WiFi disconnects every so often so it was kind of an inconvenience. But now that I received the new and improved, I’m so happy with it, it’s looks so much prettier and I still get to use the app to control it!

Using to power RTH8580WF thermostat and it is working well. No problems - would buy again.
