Wifi Thermostats For Home

I have had several thermostats and when I bought my new home they had a nest which was terrible and couldn’t wait to replace with a ecobee.

I purchased 2 of these thermostats to utilize in conjunction with SmartThings home automation. I have been very impressed with their functionality along with the interface with SmartThings.

After looking at all the smart thermostats I decide Nest is the best design to add value to my home. I have not been disappointed! I love the form and function!

When moving into our new home my husband suggested we add a few neat thermostats to our home. I didn’t know if I saw the value in it the same way he did until we moved in. We left a few rooms in the house with regular thermostats and now I wish we made them all nest thermostats!

I did not need all the really fancy things that the higher priced thermostats do, such as learning when you are not home, knowing when you are not in the room etc. Someone is home in my house pretty much 24x7 and I really don't want the temperature messed with if I leave the room for a while. The ecobee 3 lite is perfect! Looks great, price-point was spot on, it and the application function perfectly and the Google home integration is simple and functional. The only ding I can give it is setup. I had to find an alternative wiring diagram that showed where to attach my "aux" wire. This was a flaw in the installation guide and not the T-stat itself. Just a quick internet search and I was good to go!

I bought two Nest thermostats during a boxing day promo that offered a free google home mini with each purchase... a tall price tag, but the bundle sold me. I watched one video and read the instructions and had both installed in 30 mins with no issues. They look awesome, are easy and intuitive to use and work seamlessly with my heat pumps. Best of all they are saving me $ every day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to install and I like all the features. I had other smart thermostats in my home prior to this one and it’s incredible. It comes in handy to be able to control it from anywhere.

I installed two ecobee3 lite thermostats in our home and couldn't be happier. We still had the old mercury switch thermostats and I made good use of the help available to determine that our old system was compatible. Once that was determined they gave me complete instructions on wiring them. Once I had the thermostats in had installation took less than 30 minutes each. I am still learning how best to utilize all of the features but already can tell that temperature regulation is far more even. I particularly like being able to check settings and temperatures from anywhere utilizing the app.

I installed 3 smart thermostats along with a couple sensors. Overall, we love this new addition to our smart home! Monthly emails are great, set up was a breeze & my favorite is the ability to control them from anywhere. They are a bit too complicated to program using all the options in the app. We've had the thermostats for 5 months & still don't have the hang of the schedule, device and comfort settings.
