Wild Game Feeder Control Unit

Purchased a four pack to use for security and wild game activity. Very easy to set up and operate. Able to have multiple people on the photo receiving account.

Nice control and protection unit.

I bought this to photograph Hummingbirds at a feeder outside my back door with a Nikon D800. The unit is easy to connect and works great. I am able to trigger the camera for continuous shooting through glass without any apparent necessity to orient the unit on the camera in any particular direction. So far I have only used this at a distance of about 20 feet. I am using the frequency that was provided by the manufacturer and am having no problems with interference.

I have been using this unit on several different Nikon cameras to photograph hummingbirds in flight. It works very well and I can sit far away from the feeder to take pictures of these fast little creatures. Some reviews complained the they were afraid the unit would break easily, but I think it will hold up well. Just don't abuse it.

I was stunned at how well this unit performed. I took a lot of material and scanned it in quickly. If I had done that on my flatbed scanner (without feeder) it would have taken over four months. It only took 12 hours at 600 DPI. All scans were clear, correct, etc.

The unit is exactly what I had hoped for for longer hikes in wild terrain. In combination with the monopod that I purchased for that purpose, its' light weight and mechanical functionality facilitate work on the fly with my landscape cameras quite nicely. Price was quite reasonable as well.

2nd one I have purchased and holds up very well. Very pleased with this feeder.

This unit is game changer. We can now have a fan and TV in the cabin. Great for emergencies too.
