Will A Better Router Improve My Internet Connection

I bought this because I wanted a hardwired internet connection for reliability and improve my BW for other devices as I switch from my work laptop and my personal laptop while doing WFH. It has the perfect number of ports for my wireless keyboard, mouse, my 3440 x 1440 external monitor, printer. Just plug in the USB-C and it's all ready in about 3 seconds as the computer synchronizes with all the devices. Only complaint is that it runs a bit warm... not hot but pretty warm, I'd estimate 40-45C. Won't burn you but you'll notice it.

I bought this router to improve network performance on a fiber connection. Some of my remote co-workers observed that performance between our locations was not good, despite me being on a gigabit fiber connection and having good local speeds. After much research, it was determined that the router was the issue. I read great things about the ER-4, and made the purchase. I am extremely happy. Setup will take a little while. I was able to get configs manually copied from the old router to the new one in a couple hours. It did involve some command line work (the web UI includes a CLI view) in order to set certain parameters. As newer firmware versions roll out, this may not be required in the future.� Once the box is setup, it just works. Performance is now blazing fast, no matter where the connection is coming from. The UI is also a treat. I would highly recommend this router to anyone technically proficient who needs better routing performance without getting into the $1,000 price point.

Wifi has long range of effectiveness. Internet connection is stable. My internet speed is 200 mbs and this modem router is doing a great job transferring the signal!

The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building.

I recently upgraded my internet connection to a fiber optic 2gb symmetrical connection and needed a router that could handle and distribute this speed throughout my network. I have an average of 70 devices connected at any given time from iot devices up to an iPhone 15 ProMax running WiFi 6e and this router handles it all without a hiccup. I also love the control you get from the web interface as well as the ease and convenience of the excellent App.

I got gigabit internet connection. I see the router works well with xfinity and speed is good. Its bad the wifi does not get the gigabit speed. but the cable I can easily hit 900Mbps

We were having a lot of issues with our old router. This one was very easy to install and we go it up and running right away. Any internet connection problems we were having have disappeared and we can have multiple devices going without any issues. Would recommend this product to anyone!

I bought this cable just to have a more stable internet connection from my main router. It work perfect. No more drop signal during zoom meetings.
