Will A Bluetooth Adapter Drain My Car Battery

So perhaps I was too quick to judge. I was having horrible battery life issues with my SL2-S and then I discovered that bluetooth was ON, which is fine, but not when Auto Wakeup is also ON. With this configuration on the SL2-S it will very quickly drain the life out of a battery even when the camera is switched off or asleep. Leaving both of these off significantly improves battery life and if Auto Wakeup is off bluetooth can remain configured ON and not drain the battery when the camera is switched off. I use this Bluetooth adapter with a Zoom H8 recorder when recording band practices. It drains the battery faster but is completely worth having a full-screen view of all channel inputs on my phone, as well as the indicator that shows when you are recording. I only wish that this functionality were built into the device. 5 |
