Will An Avr Power Studio Monitors

I replaced an old Cyber-Power UPS with the 900VA AVR and so far I am very happy with the additional back up power that this UPS has. 5 |

Fantastic for the studio monitors. 5 |

Nothing fancy, no LED readout. Just your basic UPS with AVR which is exactly what I need for my several monitors and USB hubs. Cyberpower has always been my go-to for standby power. 5 |

I purchased this amp to power my home studio monitors. I didn't need anything very loud and wanted an amp that was simple. Sound is clear with no buzz or hum. Lights are a little annoying. My monitors are only 6, but can handle up to 300 a piece, and this little guy fills them out nicely. The great thing is if it goes out on me, I simply throw it away and buy another one. Construction is very solid. Bottom line is it is, what it is If your looking for something to blow the roof off your house and all the bells and whistles, then this one is not for you. Now if your looking for an affordable, good sounding, compact, decent amp, then looki into this one. 5 |

Bought this amp to power some non-powered studio monitors I had gotten for my desktop editing system. ... Easy setup with regular 12 gauge wire. Great sound and controls. Very solid amp. The sound is great and crisp! 5 |

It took me a few minutes to dial in the JBL, but once I figured that out it sounds smooth and complimented my setup perfectly. I'm not sure why anyone in a studio setting would want to use anything but the 80hz crossover. It had PLENTY of power, in fact, it's set to about 40 percent power to balance out with my studio monitors. Folks that say it doesn't have enough power need to turn down the gain of their monitors. The whole idea of a studio sub is not to blow you away (which this can certainly do) but rather to compliment (extend the frequency range of) the monitors. It does this very well. If you don't use this balance, your mixes will not be accurate may result in them being low-frequency deprived. I can easily switch between sub + crossovered monitors to monitors with no crossover with my Mackie 1642VLZ4 mixer. I just use a subgroup output to isolate my monitors without the sub. What makes this possible is that the HS8 monitors have 2 inputs, so your miles may vary. When dialing your sub in, remember that less is more. I've found this to be true in just about every facet of life. Happy Mixing. 5 |

This is an excellent AVR for the money. Excellent sound quality and adequate power for a medium sized room - unless you are a crazy enthusiastic gamer.... The Yamaha-styled software support may not be to everyone's liking or as universally user friendly as some others. Also this unit does not appear to be controllable with the Yamaha AV controller app, so that if you I wish it had a signal out feature to support biamping. 5 |

I have been using the MM7025 to power my front left and right speakers in a 7.1.4 setup for around four years. It seamlessly integrates with my Marantz SR7010 AVR in both form and function. There was a measurable difference in my front stage after adding this amplifier versus powering from the AVR alone. I have had zero issues with the unit and highly recommend it. 5 |

I use this cable to connect the trigger out of a Denon AVR to the trigger in of a Panamax power management device. Works perfectly to power on/off the other devices in my home theater. 5 |

With 10 (!) outlets, pure sine wave output and AVR, this thing is a beast. 2,700 Watts of output is nice, too. It’s large (17” x 7.7” x 21.4”) heavy (116lbs.) and requires a rare L5-30R (30 Amp) power input connector, so it’s not the easiest UPS to install, but once you get everything in place, it offers the absolute highest capacity you can get in a single cabinet, 120V UPS solution. Consider it for large, power intensive applications. 5 |
