Will Apple Usb Ethernet Adapter Work Pc

Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

Used it with apple TB to ethernet adapter

I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. It works great. I am using the Apple Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter. Will not work that way running El Capitan. It is working flawlessly for me running Mojave.

Getting this to work on the PC was a bit of challenge since the adapter is USB C. It comes with an USB C to USB A adapter cable but it's far too short. The instructions also recommended against plugging into the front of the PC though that did work for me. The headphones themselves sound great though you have to work for it.

It's nice to have this little adapter around since I work on both PC and Mac.

I replaced a previous VAVA adapter because it was dropping the ethernet connection. This one does not have that issue. It has one less USB connection, but that is not an issue for me.
