I installed these memory chips in a semi new Dell Optiplex. I had an older Optiplex with a mechanical HD and a lil' memory. It was so slow it was painful. I installed all the memory you can install in the new one, and also a solid state HD. The thing cannot be faster, I can have several apps running and still browse the net and I can hardly see any delays. It is literally night to day. 5 |

Speedy shipping from B&H. I installed this in an older Dell OptiPlex 980. Just followed Crucial's directions step-by-step, including the use of their cloning software. The end result was a plug-and-play install with much speedier performance than the old hard drive. This was an excellent, cost-effective upgrade! Highly recommended! 5 |

I installed this in my new Dell XPS8900 as an Intel cache and it has made a dramatic difference. After several cycles, boot up is way faster than before. PCmark7 went from 3847 to 5712. The 1TB rotating disk sequential 4k read speed increased by a factor of 14. Installation was easy as the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software came installed in the Dell. 5 |
