Wimaxit Portable Touchscreen Monitor

This is the third portable monitor I have bought for a MacBook Pro M1. The first was a Wimaxit 13.3Inch 1920x1080P IPS which I will describe only as you get what you pay for--and I wanted more than what I got. The second was an HP E14 G4 which requires drivers and HP has none for MACs. This is the third. I wanted the monitor so, when I travel, I could have it set up with Photo Mechanic while I run Photoshop on the Mac screen. It is perfect. I was concerned it might not be bright enough but that is definitely not a problem. It fires up when connected to the Mac, is thin and light, and meets my needs 100%. Highly recommended.

Best touchscreen monitor I have bought!

I tried three different USB-C cables before trying this one - this is the one that finally worked to extend a touchscreen monitor from my Mac Mini.

We use the PORTKEYS BM5 III 5.5 HDMI Touchscreen Monitor with our RED Komodo. So far, it has performed well with no issues. It is bright, sturdy and is compatible with the Komodo, as advertised. It connects with the camera wirelessly. Portkeys has a video showing how to do this and how to use the various features. We've had a couple questions for them and they responded right away. Things that I like best are the bright display, color, tools, rugged build, ability to load LUTS, compatibility with the Komodo, and technical support.

For us, the touchscreen wasn't a make or break deal. We just needed a slightly larger monitor than the built in screen for our C-100. This monitor gives you full 1080p with all the settings you could need for a very affordable price. We are very happy with the purchase, with the only complaints being the attachment being a little finicky and the lack of an adapter to go from HDMI-HDMI (only comes with HDMI to mini-HDMI). I wouldn't say it's worth losing a star over though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have low-vision, and the ability to utilize the touchscreen of the TD2760 to make the content 'visible' to me is invaluable. The monitor itself is sleek and easy to use right out of the box, and the price is absolutely reasonable. I recommend this monitor to all my friends and colleagues, low-vision or not!

I purchased this monitor on the deal zone. I use it with a laptop. It's very well constructed and just the right size for me. The display screen is very good. It does not have a touchscreen, however excellent monitor for those of us who are not needing a touchscreen. I would highly recommend this monitor.

This monitor is awesome. Love the intuitive touchscreen functions, love the camera control add-ons, love how it looks. It does scare me how hot it gets though. Could definitely fry an egg on this thing. I hope the heat doesn't affect longevity.

After purchasing several new Dell Precision workstations and 27 inch touchscreen monitors, we found that we couldn't there was no way to connect the two - the Precision did not accept HDMI and the monitor was not a DisplayPort monitor. Something like this shouldn't be complicated nor expensive and this adapter from IOGear is neither. Additionally the lot of adapters arrived the next day to save our butts.

I've only had the opportunity to use this monitor on a few shoots so far but here is what I have to say about it so far - There is little to no learning curve to using it, especially if you've ever used an external monitor. I came from a non touchscreen monitor, so the touchscreen feels 10x more intuitive to me than my old one was. The picture looks really good. I know some people complain about it having the 4K buzz word in the title and only being 1080p, but for a screen this size, 1080 is really sharp. The mounting arm is good and sturdy, I use pretty large batteries with this monitor and the mount has no problem holding up the weight. The small micro HDMI to full size HDMI cable it comes with is basic but decent quality. Works well. The built in features like zebra and letterboxing have been incredibly useful for me. That's about all I have to say so far. I got this monitor on a deal so it was just under $150 and for that, I'd say there's probably not a better monitor out there. Thanks for reading, hope this helps!
