Wind Instrument Common In Jazz Music

For such small speakers I’m enjoying every instrument in my music. I’m an avid jazz lover. Very pleased. The sound is crisp & clear.

I must admit, the first time I unboxed the instrument, I was amazed at the build quality. It has some heft, the keys are properly and ergonomically placed and you know Akai really took their time to perfect this wind controller. But as a long time saxophone player, the first time I actually played some scales, I was quite disappointed - it didn't feel like a saxophone. I was beginning to regret my purchase and thought about exchanging it for the WX5. So I gave it a few more days. Days turned to weeks, and I am beginning to appreciate this instrument. Keep practicing those scales, breathing with the mouthpiece and you realize how this is such an amazing wind controller. I made a mistake thinking that this is a replacement for a saxophone in an apartment situation. In reality, you should think about how this instrument can be an extension to your musical endeavors. The possibilities you can do with the sounds and playability are endless. There are a few usable synths prebuilt, but I suggest using the Akai EWI 5000 Editor to really play and edit your sounds then save it to the user bank. Also there are synths out there that can be used if you plug the EWI as just a midi wind controller; unfortunately you can't upload other synth sounds into the controller. Definitely give it some time to get used to the instrument especially moving from one octave to another. Keep practicing and you'll appreciate that there's hardly any moving parts here. I was opposed at it first since horns have that tactile and key feedback. But with the touch sensitivity, it really felt I was playing an instrument from the future. Again, you just have to get used to it - think about when mobile phones shift from physical keyboards to the modern phones we have today. And here I am today still keeping my purchase and writing a review. I thank Akai for making a top-notch wind controller and continuing the support for the modern electronic wind musician.

Great with jazz music. Listening to "All Blues" and "Maiden Voyage" and feeling them on another level! These speakers exceeded my expectations and improved my enjoyment of music.

After read some review , i decided to buy SE215 to replace my iPod Gen 5 earphone. I replaced the tips with smaller size to make more comfortable .After Burn in 24 hours , I started to listen some jazz music (Smooth jazz and Diana Krall). Compare to new iPod earphone SE215 delivered more musical, wide sounstage and layer.Bass not too tight and deep but enough, listening music through this IEM become more fun. Busy SE215 is an easy step to improve your sound from your exsting gear, without spend lot of money.

This speaker is gorgeous, a music lover’s best companion, whether you like jazz, hip hop, or gospel the sound quality is amazing. I highly recommend this product, and plan to order my wife one as a gift also, that way when we travel together we can pair them for a true stereo sound.

Used predominantly for streaming international radio exploring classical and jazz music with quality rock. The human voice and solo piano are real tests and this speaker passes both with flying colours.

I have used these cared extensively. They are my go to for storing music files. About the right size for my collections of jazz, classical, rock etc.

Precision and bass for multichannel movies but not really for listen music like jazz or classics. Best benefit is easy setting via trueplay. It's nice if Sonos add fast switch between spatial atmos sound and 2.1 audio with Era only.

The challenge was that for zoom tap dance, fitness and jazz classes, there is vocal instruction and music, add to this sounds from tap shoes, w/all happening at the same time. To see the instructor's whole body he/she is usually far from the computer microphone (which is usually minimal at best). Paired with a zoom U-22, this system made a big difference. It works perfectly. B&H is the best. Good advice, product options and fast delivery.
