Wind Instrument Vst 64 Bit

I recently purchased the Lexicon PCM Reverb Bundle and I am in love. I have several other great and often-used reverb plug-ins, but to me these Lex's seem to sit in mixes nicely and in most instances, seem to be lighter on the CPU than most other units of comparable quality. I am primarily running these in Pro Tools 10.3 (RTAS) on a Win7-64 system without a hitch. They also run flawlessly in Reaper 32 and 64 bit as VST on the same Win 7-64 machine. Just for kicks I also ran them inside PT as a VST Rewire without a problem. I am hoping they will develop an AAX version at a reasonable cost to upgrade before PT releases 11. The high cost of these has always been the reason I put off getting these, but they are well worth it.

I use it for the Sennheiser ME 64 and it cuts wind dramatically.

I use this Wind Diffusion on a Sennheiser K6, with an ME-64 and ME-62 mic capsule. The first time i used it was on camera. It was a very windy day on a large lake in Upstate, NY. I could not believe the difference it made over the cheapo foam wind screen that I'd been previously using. The difference was as clear as day and night. While watching the video, you could see that it was a windy day, however, there were no telltale signs to be found. The unit is also very well built, and should last through many years of constant use.

I must admit, the first time I unboxed the instrument, I was amazed at the build quality. It has some heft, the keys are properly and ergonomically placed and you know Akai really took their time to perfect this wind controller. But as a long time saxophone player, the first time I actually played some scales, I was quite disappointed - it didn't feel like a saxophone. I was beginning to regret my purchase and thought about exchanging it for the WX5. So I gave it a few more days. Days turned to weeks, and I am beginning to appreciate this instrument. Keep practicing those scales, breathing with the mouthpiece and you realize how this is such an amazing wind controller. I made a mistake thinking that this is a replacement for a saxophone in an apartment situation. In reality, you should think about how this instrument can be an extension to your musical endeavors. The possibilities you can do with the sounds and playability are endless. There are a few usable synths prebuilt, but I suggest using the Akai EWI 5000 Editor to really play and edit your sounds then save it to the user bank. Also there are synths out there that can be used if you plug the EWI as just a midi wind controller; unfortunately you can't upload other synth sounds into the controller. Definitely give it some time to get used to the instrument especially moving from one octave to another. Keep practicing and you'll appreciate that there's hardly any moving parts here. I was opposed at it first since horns have that tactile and key feedback. But with the touch sensitivity, it really felt I was playing an instrument from the future. Again, you just have to get used to it - think about when mobile phones shift from physical keyboards to the modern phones we have today. And here I am today still keeping my purchase and writing a review. I thank Akai for making a top-notch wind controller and continuing the support for the modern electronic wind musician.

Add that little bit extra for wind noise when outside.

Great stand, very sturdy. I would like if it could go a bit lower to bring my 64 plm closer to the floor.

Just a tad faster than a Commodore 64 with a little bit more storage space too. Brilliant.

I am very pleased with this instrument. I had one years ago, but it was damaged in a move. The 55SH is exactly how it is advertised...warm and friendly to use. It's a tiny bit short on highs, but that can easily be taken care of with a slight bit of EQ. Sounds wonderful on the lower end. I am very pleased with this beautiful, shiny microphone.

... I installed Windows 10 64 bit on my PC. Nothing hot swap about it now that I can find. Under Windows 7 64 bit it was genuinely hot swap. It was the simplest thing to install and use. With Win 10 I need to power off the PC, remove the HDD installed, insert the required HDD and power on again. I can't find a solution so this is a last resort :-( . From what I've found it is a problem with Win 10 not the device. Nonetheless, with 4 HDDs ranging from 3 to 6 TB, it is a pain in the sitting apparatus it won't hot swap now. If there is a solution I'd love to know what it is.
