Windjammers Arcade Machine

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

These are Windjammers are on my 4 Baby Ball Gag setups. I believe they complete the setup for optimal wind suppression and some protection. The Windjammer is needed to give you the best wind noise reduction on the Baby Ball Gag enclosures. I have an extra Windjammer on hand to swap out if I'm working in slightly light weather.

We are currently filming a run and gun styled TV adventure series and have to keep our gear down to a minimum. The Canon XF305 camera was an excellent choice for various reasons, but one of it's shortfalls was excessive wind noise on the onboard microphone. We did use external rifle microphones with windjammers that did the trick, but this just added more to the camera and frankly, the onboard microphone has excellent sound qualities thats hard to beat... After an internet search for windjammers for the XF305 we came across the Rycote and decided to order one from B&H. From a design perspective it's a flimsy fit onto the microphone thats really not quite up to the task, but we fixed that by glueing velcro strips on the inside of the windjammer and onto the edges of on board microphone on the camera. In my opinion Rycote should do this as standard with self adhesive velcro strips that can be included in the package. It works beautifully! Wind noise is a thing of the past, the only thing to monitor and watch out for at the moment is camera handing noise, but either than that, the onboard microphone together with the Rycote Windjammer is an absolute winner!

I bought, and have tried a few windjammers for my D100. This is the best of the lot. Some others may come slightly close but they alter the EQ too much. This is brilliant, very effective and sound remains uncoloured.

Last week we had shoot adjacent to the Charleston Harbor and these Windjammers really cut out the wind noise for us on a very breezy day.

Can't go wrong. Rycote has the best windjammers. Fits the D-100 perfectly. very little if any loss in sonic quality to the built in mics. 100% would recommend.

Perfect feature set for small gaming arcade. Modules allow configuration for all sources. 70v output perfect for distributed speaker system.

Performs well for our arcade side art project. very easy to apply with peal and stick backing and and a Bondo plastic spreader to remove bubbles. Great price too. Printed with K3 UltraChrome Inks on Epson 4880. At some point we will probably buy some 3 mil PSA Luster Calendered UV Vinyl Laminate to really protect the artwork.
