Window Cover For Air Conditioners

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. Arrived right in the delivery window, customer service from B&H is great as always. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a lifesaver especially during the summer when everyone is blasting their fans and air conditioners and risking outages. I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped. 5 |

We purchased an Eve Weather Station, and a Logitech Circle View week ago for monitoring our pet's room a week ago. Since we only had a couple of window air conditioners available as heat wave was starting, and could not leave room door open, we wanted a way to check in on our dear pet and make sure the room was not getting too hot for their health. Prior to this purchase, we had never made use of Apple's HomeKit technology and were completely ignorant of how it worked. Setup was very easy and quick. In addition to the Home app on our phones, we also downloaded the Eve app (this is not required per se, but may be to allow for firmware updates to the Eve Weather Station when made available). The app provides nice graphing for tracking trends or pinpointing historical readings, for example the difference in temperature before and after we added weather sealing to the window around the air conditioner. We were very happy with how easily this worked out, so we purchased several more and have distributed them throughout our living spaces. We are curious to look into seeing if we can also download the data as backup for later analysis as we experiment with other experiments and changes and attempts to manage heat and cooling. (This is a very old place with original, single-pane windows, there is very little insulating, and a southern exposure!) 5 |

My new iPad air 2 hangs around the kitchen mostly (we have a great bay window there) and I use it for cooking as well as when my granddaughter comes to play with it. The base is very secure, even on a glass tabletop, and I can make the pad face completely towards the ceiling for cooking, but also adjust it for other uses. Adjustments are seemingly infinite and secure. I do not imagine I would have to repurchase it, it is very sturdy. Although the backstrap for holding up the iPad during presentations seems a but unnecessary for my purposes, I can se where it would be useful. 5 |

Just used this cover in the Smokies where it rained a lot. This cover protected both the camera and lens very well and with the plastic window there was easy access to the camera even though it was raining. Would highly recommend this to any photographer. 5 |

I used to cover my window with a black curtain and turn on led lights. This simple light modifying fabric now allows to have a soft, diffused, natural light. I can take it off and use it as a scrim for a shoot. 5 |

No, it does not completely seal up the camera like some other (more expensive) options, but as a rain cover it works great. Best features are that it is very easy to put on and stays on very securely, folds up very compactly into the included pouch, and protects the full camera and lens when horizontal. On a 400 f/2.8 it's just about the perfect size. Not too big, but loose enough to easily get hands in for lens switches and manual focus. It's also loose enough to allow rotating lens to portrait even with monopod sidemounted on a Wimberley monogimbal. So why was I looking for the 4.5 rating? Two things would make it perfect: 1) a slip on cover at the objective end to provide more protection when the lens is idle (the more expensive TT option has this), and 2) some kind of bridge or tenting approach (better than rolling it up) to keep the rear of the camera covered without pulling the plastic window down over it. Yeah, viewing through the plastic window does work and provides the best protection from falling rain, but I'd like less obstructed access. 5 |

Perfect for 5 x 7 photos. The cover photo window is easy to use and a nice touch if you are giving this as a gift. 5 |
