This is a solid hard drive. I wanted a good 2TB hard drive to use as a backup drive in my Windows 7 home computer. Using hard drives larger than 2TB is painful with Window 7. So, I wanted to get as much storage as I could. B&H had a GREAT price on this drive. 5 |

This works great with Windows 10 Home x64 using Windows Fax and Scan. I did not want to use up an expansion slot in the back of the computer so this just plugs into an open USB port in the back. In order to leave it plugged in I got a USB extension so I can have the modem laying on top of the computer. Then I can just plug in the phone line whenever I want to send or receive a fax. Works great that way because I only had to install it once and it starts up every time the computer is turned on. Installation was very easy. Just remember to go in and manually turn on the modem settings and do an update to the drivers. 5 |

I recently moved from a windows platform to a Apple computer and need an adapter to connect my MacBook to my home network. The new computer does not have a Ethernet connection. This works well with my USB hub and keeps everything connected at high speeds. 5 |

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked. 5 |

You pay a premium for the small size, but it takes up so little desk real estate, and it's a great RAID 1 system for keeping my photos safely backed up. I use Windows (rather than Mac), but a quick call to Glyph's tech support folks was fabulous--he walked me thru the steps to format the drive(s) for Windows, and I was up and running in a couple minutes (NEVER would have figured it out myself from the less than impressive online product manual) 5 |
