Windows 8 Built In Screen Video Recorder

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE.

My plan is to use it as audio for video. My first use has been as a field recorder. Using the built in mics plus two additional inputs (Line or XLR) as four single inputs. This captures the sound of our band very well and can then be mixed down later. When we add the camera we'll mix down as we film into the camera input. It is rugged and versatile. Very easy to use.

A must have for me when using this field recorder, the only thing missing is a screen! LED let you know when you're recording and what inputs you are using.
