[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box containing my new Seagate One Touch I was surprised to see the power supply came with adapters for any power source used around the world. To me this represented the thought that was put into who and where this hardware might be used. After finding the correct adapter for my use, I was quickly able to attach the drive to my desktop via the 3.0 USB port. After I attached the drive, I downloaded and installed the Toolkit software from the Seagate website. This software provides all the function that were needed to secure, backup, restore and mirror your data. The software and the hard drive worked well together allowing me to get the most out of my new hardware. First, I set up a weekly scheduled backup of my important files so that I did not have to remember each week to manually backup this information. Next, I create a mirror folder on my PC sync to my new storage device. This was so that whenever I add, delete, or edit files in one folder, Toolkit automatically updates the other folder with my changes. I have been using my One touch for about 2 weeks with no issues. I am happy with speed of both the writing and reading of information from the drive. I would recommend this drive to anyone looking for some extra space to securely store your information. 5 |

Business use, my computer is where vendors can see sensitive information, and with this product, I do not have to worry about them seeing anything. 5 |

Good to have these around. Needed this for some of my old hardware that still used USB-A. Worker for both operating OS(Windows/Mac) 5 |

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked. 5 |

While the information that comes with the controller mentions only Windows compatibility, I use the controller implementing Xinput and Flight mode with Train Valley 2 on my computer loaded with Ubuntu 22.04. I have no problems. 5 |

I was a little hesitant at first to buy an all-in-one but I needed the space. Happy to report that the machine is all it should be, it does all I need it to do plus more. The monitor is large enough for my 67 y/o eyes to see what I need to. Sometimes I use side by side windows and can view information on both of them. It is so nice to not have to switch between windows, especially when typing information from one to the other. 5 |

excellent device, after reading a lot of information I had my doubts because of the different experiences that I could read from other users. But once in my hands, it's everything I was looking for, it can run the engineering programs I use at work (electric CAD, Tia portal, studio 5000, Proficy machine editio, etc.) without much problem and for less than 1 kg of weight on my back. Negative things, the computer heats up a little more than necessary and Windows 11 is not fully optimized, so we have to close processes and services so that Windows works without devouring RAM. In my experience, working in a tropical climate at about 32 degrees Celsius, the team easily reaches 67 degrees when demanding with AutoCAD. But with a small external fan the temperature is stable at 58 degrees. But nothing really scary. Happy with my purchase and with the prompt and diligent service from B&H 5 |

The 5-star rating is for the hardware. The SSD and RAM are blazingly fast, and there is plenty of room for expanding both memory and storage. And I am glad that HP still offers a choice to purchase a PC with a read-write optical disk. On the other hand, the operating system (Windows 11 22H2), gets 1.5 stars at best. Useful commands have been hidden behind additional layers of context menus, and the Taskbar customization is now limited to the point where I can't uncombine taskbar icons or change them into text labels as in Windows 7. Microsoft needs to realize there is a good reason why hieroglyphics fell out of favor! Finally, the placement of the taskbar icons and especially the Start menu -- which are all now centered -- violates usability principles, as they move around the bottom of the screen depending on how many programs you have open, so before clicking you have to look directly and make sure where they have moved to. All these user-interface defects required extensive modification with Start11 and WindowBlinds, which make it possible to return to a sensible interface. 5 |
