At first it did not show a drive in windows explorer. I was thinking of writing a bad review, but then I opened Computer Manager/Disk Administration, turned out that the main volume on the drive did not have a partition 5 |

I only installed it a short week ago. But my computer tech set it up for me and so far all goes smooth. I have another Buffalo as well and this one also runs well and smooth! This is one of the best nvme drives you can get from 2022. I can open folders and see previews in windows explorer on this drive noticably faster than on a seperate pcie 4.0 drive I have. I can't believe I got this for sub $400 on sale. I haven't ran into a scenario where I felt the drive was too slow or delaying me. i'm using it with a x570 motherboard. 5 |

I use windows 8.1 quite often. On this mac, all drives (except the internal flash drive) are external. Windows runs great off Thunderbolt connected drives. You can have multiple window drives and select the one you want on boot by holding down the option key. 5 |
