I was looking for a way to fix the lag issues with playing my guitar through a laptop and saw several people recommend the M-Audio AIR 192/4. It worked right out of the box - NO MORE LAG. I'm a complete novice, so i don't use it for recording. But I'm excited by the possibilties. (Also, thanks to B&H Photo for selling this at a fair price. I use a Windows Pro 7 laptop gaming machine for hobby-based audio fun. It has been difficult to get a clean audio signal from multiple sound sources (tape, cassette, CD) into my laptop using the laptop's Audio In jack. After purchasing the SoundCraft Signature 10 for mic testing and mixing reasons, I discovered that the USB input/output port can deliver a pristine CD-quality audio signal right into my recording application (usually Total Recorder). I built a second machine for playing around with Linux and Windows 8, and wanted a 2 port KVM. This is a nice one. The switching has been problem free so far. I like that additional USB devices can be hooked to the KVM so that they follow me to the machine I am working on. The cables are also nice and long - so no problem with putting the unit on the desk. No real complaints I can think of. Nice KVM that keeps out of the way until it is needed. 5 |

This connects right up to Windows with no driver needed. Audio sounds fine, and the cost is great. Nice simple solution to get PC audio into professional audio equipment without using the unreliable 3.5mm headphone connection. Would definitely purchase again. 5 |
